"It's always a pleasure for me playing Champions League, I'm enjoying my dreams. Really happy to be here."

"It's a team that play man-to-man and you have to look for space and create chances. First half we had those chances but didn't score, luckily we had two goals in the second half."

It should've been a goal, though.

17:41 GMT - In an especially early, early match this evening, Olympiacos have taken all three points with a 1-0 win away at Kairat Almaty.

The other regular early fixture kicks off in a few moments as Bayern Munich host Sporting.

16:13 GMT - Cole Palmer will miss Chelsea's Champions League clash with Atalanta on Tuesday as boss Enzo Maresca tries to keep the injury-plagued forward fresh.

Maresca confirmed on Monday that Palmer had been left out of Chelsea's squad in Bergamo as part of his recovery from a two-month spell on the sidelines.

"Cole is in part of his process in this moment. He's not available, he can't play two games in a row in three days," Maresca said.

"So we planned that, and it's just a way to protect him."

16:03 GMT - Arne Slot insisted that his relationship with Mohamed Salah has not broken down even after dropping the star attacker from Liverpool's trip to face Inter Milan in the Champions League.

"That's not the way I feel, but he has the right to feel how he feels. I haven't felt that at all," said Liverpool coach Slot during his press conference on Monday.

The Egyptian winger was not taken to Italy despite training earlier in the day with the first team, after saying he felt like he had been "thrown under the bus" by the club and no longer had a relationship with Slot.

16:01 GMT - Liverpool desperately need to get their 2025/26 season back on track, so the Champions League fixture on Tuesday evening away at an in-form Internazionale couldn't really have come at a worse time.

The Italian giants have lost just three of the last 17 games in all competitions, and are one of four clubs on 12 points in the Champions League table, just three behind outright leaders, Arsenal.
