22:02 BST - Well, that about rounds things up for us tonight. Wasn't that exciting? If you're looking for a round-up of the day's action, you can find that here. Until next time!

21:07 BST - That was an extraordinary men's 100m final. The quality on show means every single one of those men can be proud - world records and personal bests all the way through to eighth.

20:54 BST - Noah Lyles is the world's fastest man! The American beats Jamaica's Kishane Thompson by just 0.005 seconds. Wow!

Lyles' compatriot Fred Kerley takes the bronze medal.

20:45 BST - Coming up very soon, the men's 100m final. How exciting. Though there will be no British presence, eyes will be on the USA's Noah Lyles.

19:59 BST - What. A. Performance! Team GB star Keely Hodgkinson is through to the women's 800m final after dominating her semi.

19:48 BST - Nightmare for Jemma Reekie! She was in the mix right up until the final stretch of her semi, but finishes fifth with nothing left to give in the tank

The results from that heat also means GB's Gill won't progress to the final either. It's all on Keely Hodgkinson now.

19:38 BST - An impressive run by 17-year-old Phoebe Gill in the women's 800m semi-finals for Britain. She takes fourth, with a very slim chance of making the final.

19:31 BST - There will be no GB athlete in the men's 100m final as Zharnel Hughes, who will still compete in the men's 200m, finished sixth.

19:20 BST - And it's bad news for Hinchliffe as his time is not enough to progress to tonight's men's final. Marcell Jacobs and Kenneth Bednarek posted quicker times.

19:16 BST - The second men's 100m semi-final is about to take place...

19:13 BST - Team GB's surprise package Louie Hinchliffe didn't get off to the best start in his men's 100m semi, but he recovered well to take third. He now has to wait for the other semi-final to see if that's enough to qualify for the final.

18:20 BST - No medal for Britain in the men's 4x100m medley relay final, but to take fourth is still some effort from the lads. China take gold, the USA silver and France bronze.

As a quick reminder the, updated medal table is below:

18:08 BST - Team GB's Matthew Hudson-Smith has just cruised into the men's 400m semi-finals by taking first in his heat.

17:56 BST - Excitement in the men's 1500m freestyle final as American Bobby Finke sets a new world record to take the gold! Gregorio Paltrinieri, of Italy, claims silver and Irish star Daniel Wiffen takes the bronze.

16:40 BST - It's silver for Tommy Fleetwood. He knows it could have been gold, but it's still an incredible achievement for the British golfing star.

Japan's Hideki Matsuyama takes the bronze, Scheffler the gold. Ireland's Rory McIlroy tied fifth with Jon Rahm of Spain.

16:35 BST - It'll be silver at best for Tommy Fleetwood now after he failed to convert what would have been an all-timer shot. American Scottie Scheffler deservedly will take the gold medal.

16:12 BST - Team GB's Harry Hepworth has just won bronze in the men's vault final.

16:02 BST - Novak Djokovic wins gold in Paris! The Serb has beaten Spain's Carlos Alcaraz 7(7)-6(3), (7)7-2(2) in a little under three hours.

The oldest player to reach the men's final, he's just become the oldest to win it.

15:39 BST - Team GB duo Jake Jarman and Harry Hepworth are both in action at the vault final. Can they get a couple of medals?

15:32 BST - It's silver for Team GB's Amber Rutter. Chile take the gold, but not without controversy.

Rutter had contested a late call in the final shootout, but a silver is still very much something to be proud of.

The USA take bronze.

14:45 BST - Novak Djokovic takes the first set against Carlos Alcaraz after a mammoth hour and a half.

The oldest ever finallist strikes first against the youngest ever finallist.

14:42 BST - The women's skeet final is under way, with Team GB's Amber Rutter currently tied for the lead after 10 perfect shots.

14:36 BST - Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are putting on a real show at Roland Garros in the men's gold medal match.

The Serb has been under pressure for much of the first set but they continue to take lumps out of each other.

We're into a tiebreak for the first set.

14:04 BST - GB's Tommy Fleetwood has moved into the medal positions but John Rahm still leads in the golf.

Follow the live leaderboard here.

13:14 BST - Femke Bol and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone eased through the opening round of the women's 400m hurdles on Sunday to remain on a Paris Olympics collision course.

USA star McLaughlin-Levrone, the reigning Olympic champion and world-record holder, cruised through her heat to win in 53.60sec at a sun-baked Stade de France.

The Netherlands' current world champion Bol shrugged off the after-effects of her dazzling performance in Saturday's 4x400m mixed relay to coast through her heat in a leading 53.38sec.

13:08 BST - USA's Xander Schauffele and Spain's Jon Rahm are leading the way in the golf, both -16, although Team GB's Tommy Fleetwood is just one shot behind.

Ireland's Rory McIlroy is also going good, just a couple of shots back from the frontrunners.

Follow the live leaderboard here.

12:30 BST - Team GB pick up a second dressage bronze of the Games thanks to Lottie Fry and Glamourdale, making it five equestrian titles in total in Paris.

12:26 BST - Not long to go now until the tennis men's final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz begins.

Can the Serbian finally add the elusive gold medal to his cabinet?

Follow that one as it happens right here.

Italy's Lorenzo Musetti picked up the bronze after beating Auger-Aliassime 6-4 1-6 6-3 yesterday.

10:15 BST - American track star Noah Lyles will go for glory in the men's 100m at the Stade de France on Sunday evening.

His bid for three - and potentially four - golds starts with some tough competition in the blue riband event.

There are semi-finals to negotiate before the final, the result of which will define Lyles' week of competition in Paris.

10:01 BST - Team GB's Lizzie Bird is into the 3000m steeplechase final on Tuesday evening after a fourth-placed finish in her heat.

Elsewhere, British shooter Amber Rutter has hit 24/25 this morning, taking her total to 98/100 in the women's skeet ahead of the final this afternoon.

9:21 BST - Djokovic faces Spain's Carlos Alcaraz in a showdown at Roland Garros on Sunday and only victory will really satisfy the 24-time Grand Slam champion's hunger.

His four previous appearances at the Olympics earned him a solitary bronze medal and plenty of heartache as he lost three singles semi-finals to Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Alexander Zverev.

9:00 BST - Good morning and welcome back to the Olympics Tracker.

We're halfway through the Games already but there's still plenty more to come today, including a mammoth men's tennis final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, plus the men's 100m final this evening.
