Duplantis has instead opted to focus solely on the 2025 World Indoor Athletics Championships, which will take place in Nanjing, China, later next month.
The decision comes as little surprise, given the proximity of the two competitions and that 'Mondo' decided not to defend the European indoor title he won in 2021 at the previous edition in 2023.
The double Olympic champion and world record holder has made one competitive appearance in 2025, taking victory at the ISTAF Indoor meeting in Berlin, going clear at 6.10m - a record for the meeting.
Sweden aim for another promising haul
Twenty athletes, meanwhile, will be wearing the blue and yellow of Sweden in the Netherlands next week.
Among them is Thobias Montler, the team's most successful athlete at the 2023 European Indoor Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, who will be hoping to turn his silver medal into gold this time.
Bronze medalists from 2023 Henrik Larsson and Fanny Roos, in the 60 metres and shot put, respectively, will also be hoping to stand on the podium again.
Julia Henriksson, fresh from setting a Swedish indoor record over 200 metres this month (22.84 seconds), will be competing in the 60 metres at Omnisport Apeldoorn.
