Olympic bronze medallist Georgia Hunter Bell has been included in Great Britain's team for the World Indoor Championship in China later this month.

Over 500 athletes from 120 countries will gather at Nanjing's Cube from 21-23 March for the first major international meet since the Olympic Games.

The 31-year-old will compete in the women's 1500m after breaking the national record in the event on her international debut at Paris 2024.

Hunter Bell gave up her job in cyber security to pursue a career in athletics, and will race in China alongside teammate Revee Walcott-Nolan having recovered from an ear infection that hampered her prospects at the recent European Indoor Championship in Apeldoorn.

Amy Hunt, a member of Team GB's 4x100m relay quartet that won silver in Paris, will compete in the 60m.

Pole vaulter Molly Caudery makes the cut as one of 11 wildcard entrees selected by World Athletics but Keely Hodgkinson misses out after injuring her hamstring ahead of her own event, the Keely Klassic, in February.

The 22-year-old middle-distance runner was in a race against time to be fit for the European Indoors, but uncertainty now surrounds the timing of her return to the track having not competed since the Olympics.

UK Athletics will hope the 800m Olympic and indoor champion will recover in time for the outdoor season with the world championships held in Tokyo this September.

Jeremiah Azu, bronze medallist in the men's 4x100m relay at Paris 2024, will hope for back-to-back titles in the 60m having topped the podium in the Netherlands.

The 23-year-old became a father for the first time earlier this month and recorded a personal best 6.49 seconds to clinch gold on Saturday.

Elsewhere George Mills, son of former Man City, Middlesbrough and Leeds defender Danny, will compete in the men's 3000m after winning silver at the event in Apeldoorn, with Adam Fogg and Neil Gourley set for the 1500m.

However despite success at Paris 2024, there will be no Great Britain relay teams in China with UK Athletics instead preparing for the world relay championship in Guangzhou this May.
