According to a notable NBA insider, Shams Charania, ESPN have been told that the Phoenix Suns are trading two-time NBA Finals MVP Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft and five second-round picks.
With just one season left on his deal, he will now make $54.7 million in the 2025/26 season.
Durant turns 37 in September and played 62 games with the Suns last season. Averaging 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 blocks, he wasn't far below his career number.
He will also be eligible to sign a two-year extension worth up to $122 million once the new league year starts on July 6th.
