Liverpool v Rangers
Liverpool welcome Rangers to Anfield in Group A, with the Reds needing a win to put their season back on track.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken about his own players' confidence and having to go 'back to basics' in defence if they are to correct their poor start to the campaign.
"People can ask how could it happen that these players are not full of confidence," said the German. "Do you think Cristiano Ronaldo at this moment is top of his confidence levels?
"He was for ages the best player in the world and now it is not going his way and it is not exactly the same. That happens to all of us."
The Reds have struggled for form this season, winning only three games in all competitions and dropping points on six different occasions.
They have already lost to Group A leaders Napoli, thrashed 4-1 away from home, although their opponents on Tuesday have also struggled.
Rangers were comfortably beaten in their opening two European fixtures, losing 4-0 to Ajax and 3-0 to Napoli
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side will be without midfielder Tom Lawrence, who is expected to be unavailable until after the World Cup.
"We have to wait (to see) how long he will be out but I think it is going to be longer term.
"We are still diagnosing his injury but I don't think we will have him back before the World Cup," van Bronckhorst said.
Second placed Ajax host Napoli in the other Group A fixture.

Frankfurt v Tottenham
Spurs face a tricky trip to the Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt in Group D, and are looking to bounce back from their north London derby defeat.
Antonio Conte's team have lost just twice all season, including their last fixture in Europe against Sporting Lisbon, who top the group with two wins from two.
Although Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Moura will miss out through injury, Ben Davies is available for selection again.

"We know very well the game will be very tough because we are playing against Eintracht Frankfurt," Conte told the BBC.
"We are talking about one of the best teams in Germany. At the same time we want to play our cards here.
"I always say, this ground, there is a great balance, and tomorrow (Tuesday), it will be an important game for us. Not decisive, but an important game."
Spurs currently sit second in Group D, ahead of their opponents on goal difference, but need a five-goal swing if they are to overtake Sporting.
The Portugese side take on Marseille in the other fixture in the group.
