Earlier, Bunting beat Raymond van Barneveld 6-5 in the quarters.
Before falling to 'The Bullet', Littler beat Dutch superstar Michael van Gerwen 6-3 in a rematch of the World Championship final.
In the other semi-final, Rob Cross beat Wales' Gerwyn Price 7-3.
Earlier, Cross beat Wattimena 6-3.
The Dutchman notably knocked out world number one Luke Humphries in the round of 16.
The final will be played later this evening at Maaspoort Den Bosch.
