23:26 GMT - That about wraps things up for us tonight! Please do join us again tomorrow and check out a brief round-up of today's results below:

Jeffrey de Graaf 4-1 Paolo Nebrida

Kevin Doets 4-3 Krzysztof Ratajski

Dimitri van den Bergh 0-4 Callan Rydz

Ricky Evans 2-4 Robert Owen

Jonny Clayton 2-4 Gerwyn Price

Luke Humphries 1-4 Peter Wright

22:58 GMT - He's done it! Peter Wright has served up quite the shock by knocking out defending champion and world number one Luke Humphries!

It wasn't particularly close either as the Scot won four sets to Humphries' one, with the final set going the way of 'Snakebite' without a leg being dropped.

22:55 GMT - The defending champion is one set away from being knocked out. Here we go for the fifth time...

22:50 GMT - Wright now leads 3-1. Humphries is on the ropes!

22:46 GMT - Wright takes a second set over Humphries! 2-1 to the Scot. He couldn't, could he?

22:26 GMT - Humphries levels things up. After a hard-fought set, it's now 1-1.

22:23 GMT - Big response from Humphries, who immediately hits a 161 checkout after dropping the first set to Wright.

22:17 GMT - Wright takes the first set! The Scot dropped the first leg, but fought back well to take the lead. 1-0.

22:04 GMT - Wright gets us underway...

21:49 GMT - Up next, world number one Luke Humphries takes on Scots fan-favourite Peter Wright.

21:42 GMT - Price wins it! 4-2. The 'Iceman' is the first player to reach the quarter-finals.

21:33 GMT - Price takes a third! It's now 3-2 after five sets.

21:22 GMT - Clayton is all the way back! 2-2.

It looked to be another clean 3-0 set for him, but Price picked up a leg: 3-1.

21:14 GMT - Clayton roars back! Without dropping a leg, the world number seven reduces the deficit. 2-1.

21:05 GMT - Price takes the second and looks to be in very good form tonight. 2-0.

20:56 GMT - Price takes the first set! 1-0.

Averaging over 103, he takes the first over Clayton 3-1.

20:32 GMT - Up next, Welsh duo Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price will face-off in our first round of 16 clash.

20:27 GMT - We won't be needing a seventh set as Owen takes the sixth to beat Evans 4-2.

The Welshman really got into his stride in the final set and didn't drop a leg on the way to victory.

20:24 GMT - Owen takes the fifth set to lead 3-2.

The Welshman did very well to turn it around after trailing 2-1 to Evans in legs.

20:09 GMT - Owen takes the fourth set to draw level again at 2-2!

19:56 GMT - Evans takes the third set to lead 2-1. These guys are playing some wonderful darts.

19:50 GMT - Owen gets the second set to draw level with Evans! 1-1.

The players traded legs all the way until the end as the Welshman nodded in front to win it 3-2.

19:38 GMT - Evans takes the first set, much to the joy of the crowd. 1-0.

19:23 GMT - Following a slight delay, Ricky Evans gets us underway in his clash with Robert Owen...

17:40 GMT - A reminder of tonight's matches, which should start at around 19:15 GMT:

Ricky Evans v Robert Owen

Jonny Clayton v Gerwyn Price

Luke Humphries v Peter Wright

16:31 GMT - He's done it! 4-0, Rydz is into the last 16. The Englishman did it in style, too, as he didn't drop a leg in the final set.

16:23 GMT - Rydz takes a third set! Wow! We very much could be looking at an upset. At this point, he's looking more comfortable at Ally Pally than Van den Bergh. 3-0.

16:08 GMT - Rydz takes the second! Do we have a shock on our hands?! 2-0.

15:59 GMT - Rydz takes the first set without dropping a leg! That wasn't in the programme, 1-0.

15:34 GMT - Up next, Belgian star Dimitri van den Bergh takes on England's Callan Rydz.

15:31 GMT - Doets wins it! 4-3.

What a ride that was, but you have to say the better player prevails after seven sets.

15:23 GMT - It's 3-3! Doets composes himself and claims the sixth set to level things up again...

15:12 GMT - Ratajski is back in front! What a tie these two are giving us, 3-2.

14:58 GMT - Doets levels it! Class by the Dutchman, who takes the fourth set without dropping a leg. 2-2.

14:52 GMT - Doets gets going! The Dutchman has his first set and now trails 2-1 to Ratajski.

14:47 GMT - Wow! Ratajski takes the second set, and without dropping a leg, 2-0.

14:29 GMT - Ratajski takes the first set without dropping a leg! 1-0.

14:08 GMT - Up next, Dutchman Kevin Doets takes on Poland's Krzysztof Ratajski.

14:07 GMT - De Graaf wins it!

The Swede takes the fifth set to win 4-1. Nebrida gave him a bit to think about after the first set, but in truth it wasn't much of a test for De Graaf.

13:54 GMT - De Graaf takes the fourth set! He now leads 3-1.

13:38 GMT - De Graaf now leads 2-1!

It was a tense one, as Nebrida led 2-1 in legs at one stage, but the Swede's quality prevailed to win the set 3-2.

13:17 GMT - De Graaf roars back! It's 1-1.

Wow! The Swede took no time at all to pick up all three legs to level things up with Nebrida.

13:13 GMT - Nebrida takes the first set 3-1 over De Graaf!

He took the first leg before the Swede could level up at 1-1; Nebrida then took the next two to draw first blood.

12:33 GMT - Today's first match, between Sweden's Jeffrey de Graaf and Filipino Paolo Nebrida, will soon get underway.
