Luke Humphries has claimed victory on night one of Premier League Darts in Belfast, thrashing Chris Dobey 6-1 in the final.

Michael van Gerwen beat Luke Littler 6-5 in the first round, before the Dutchman was dealt a knockout blow by 'Cool Hand' Luke in the semi-finals.

Earlier, Stephen Bunting was beaten 6-4 by Rob Cross - who went on to lose 6-4 to Dobey in the semi-finals.

Dobey stunned Welsh star Gerwyn Price 6-4 in the first round to get his night started with a bang.

World number one Humphries began his evening with a convincing 6-2 beating of Nathan Aspinall.

'Cool Hand' Luke then avenged his namesake, Littler, in the semi-finals by beating Van Gerwen in a 6-5 thriller.
