Read our report: Littler downs Humphries in pulsating final to clinch second Premier League

22:28 BST - Some reaction from an emotional Luke Littler after winning the 2026 Premier League:

"It was a rollercoaster first four weeks, bottom of the table, but then the fifth night I won my first night," Littler told Sky Sports.

"I had to pick myself up, some tough times.

"I think I had a 79 average in Brighton or something like that and it was tough. But I am here with the trophy.

"After Brighton and the incident in Manchester, I was sat at home saying to Faith (his girlfriend) 'I don't want to do it anymore, just the crowd every week'. I said to her 'I'm down bad'."

22:06 BST - Some phenomenal statistics from that final: 111.67 average for Littler, 105.60 for Humphries. Littler hit 12 180s to Humphries' five, with both just under 50 per cent on the doubles. Stunning stuff.

22:01 BST - RESULT: LITTLER 11-10 HUMPHRIES

Humphries needs the break, but goes trebleless. Littler needs 164 to win, but he can't get it started. Still, he lays up 64 with Humphries not on a finish. Littler misses a match dart, and Humphries takes out double 4 to make it sudden death!

Humphries now has the advantage of the darts! Unbelievable stuff, this. Cool hand goes trebleless at the worst moment, Littler gets down to 54. Humphries fluffs it again, and Littler mops up to clinch the crown!

21:58 BST - Littler narrowly misses double 8, but comes back for double 4 to restore parity once again. It's Humphries' to lose with the throw, though.

Both are around 45 per cent on their doubles at this stage, with Littler just about edging the 110-plus averages. Humphries just misses the bull, bull double 16 finish, but Littler doesn't capitalise. Humphries comes back to take out 16 and make it 9-8 in his favour.

Littler's chasing the game. He needs 56 and takes it out comfortably: it's 9-9. Right now we're on for playing every leg of darts this evening.

Littler opens with two maximums to set up a nine-darter! He hits seven perfect darts and eventually leaves 40 to take the lead, which he takes out. It's 10-9 to Littler, and he has the darts!

21:52 BST - Littler hits a ninth 180, but misses double 15. Humphries misses three at double 19. Littler comes back to break with a double 6. It's 7-6 to Humphries, and it's suddenly feeling a bit nervy up there.

Humphries begins the next leg with a maximum, followed by a 140, to take control as he looks for another break of throw. Littler takes out 84 for an astonishing 11-dart leg. We are even Stevens at 7-7!

Another 180 from Littler, but no one can get past the fourth perfect dart tonight. Humphries holds the next leg via double 10 - he's three legs away from retaining.

21:48 BST - Humphries starts with the darts, and he's looking the more likely up there, at least as it stands.

Littler opens with a 180 but can't follow it with another. He takes out tops to break throw and move back within one leg of Humphries.

This time, Humphries opens with the 180. He fluffs his lines on 122, but Littler misses the bullseye to take out 126. Humphries misses tops to take out 80. Littler misses double 5. Humphries hits the finish to make it 7-5.

Both players are averaging between 110 and 111. Crazy numbers.

21:43 BST - Littler has hit six 180s to Humphries' three, but the latter is showing superiority on the doubles, pinning 66 per cent to Littler's 44 per cent after 10 legs.

21:41 BST - The pace is rapid, and the contest is becoming absorbing. Unfortunately, there are some whistlers in the crowd. Humphries misses the bull to take out 167. Littler can't take out 107. Humphries takes out double 8 to level up the scores again and break Littler.

Littler hits a 180 and a fourth perfect dart, but can't get the nine going after that. He comes back with another, but Humphries takes out 134 with back-to-back 40s. Lovely stuff!

In the eighth set, Littler leaves the big fish, but can't get it going. Humphries comes back to break Littler with a tidy tops to make it 5-3.

On the throw, Humphries looks to take out 121, which he does with an excellent bullseye finish to go three legs up. That's his third ton-plus finish. Littler's got to be feeling it now.

Both players are averaging massive numbers - Littler around 111, Humphries 114. Littler fights back to take out 81 and make it 6-4 to Humphries ahead of the break.

21:34 BST - Littler needs to get going, and he hits his second 180 of the night. He leaves 94, but misses double 10. Humphries isn't on a finish, but the Nuke puts it away to make it 2-2.

Humphries throws first in the fifth set. A tidy 171 puts Humphries under pressure, and Littler hits treble 18, double 20 to take out 94 and earn his third leg in a row. It's 3-2 to Littler.

21:30 BST - Humphries has the darts first, and he pins a 180. He takes out tops to hold and take an early lead.

Littler comes back with a trebleless visit and Humphries capitalises, nearly taking out 151 to break. He knows he'll be back, though, and takes out double 10 to make it 2-0. He goes close to 134 but just misses out, and Littler returns to take out a huge tops finish to get on the scoreboard. It's 2-1 to Humphries, and a strong start from the Yorkshireman.

21:15 BST - Here we go then - the world's number one against the world's number two on one of the biggest stages in the sport.

Humphries only won one Premier League night throughout the entire season - can he pull it out of the bag here?

21:06 BST - In their eight meetings in the Premier League this year, Luke Littler has generally had the better of Luke Humphries, winning five of those clashes between the two. Still, Humphries has taken the bragging rights in their previous two outings.

20:59 BST - It's another Luke versus Luke final, then!

Fair play to both players there, both averaging around the 96 per cent mark, with Clayton hitting 42 per cent of his doubles and Humphries escaping despite only pinning a third of his.

20:57 BST - RESULT: CLAYTON 9-10 HUMPHRIES

It's all gone wrong for Humphries here, and he looks furious with himself up there. Clayton just needs to hold for the win. He misses double 16 again to stay alive. Clayton can't take out 150, and Humphries does take out double 8 to break back and make it 9-8 to Clayton.

Clayton hits his eighth maximum, but a nonchalant double 14 finish to take out 121 sends us to sudden death.

Clayton has the darts and kicks it off with a 140. Humphries replies with the same. A wayward 60 sets Clayton back, and Humphries takes control with 140, with 121 on the board again. He wires the bull! Clayton needs 62, but misses the match dart. Humphries gets a go at 25, he splits with the nine and pins double 8 to somehow get the win over the line.

20:52 BST - Clayton will need to break Humphries at some point. The defending champion leaves 51, but again struggles on double 16. Clayton needs 76, which he duly takes out to break throw and make it 7-7!

Humphries misses double 10, opening the door for Clayton to take out his own to make it 9-7! He's one away!

20:46 BST - Clayton has the darts and sinks a 180, eventually leaving 170 to take out. He can't put it away, but with his opponent not on a finish, he has time. He takes out 30, and now it's just one leg between them.

Clayton hits another 180 to apply pressure, and Humphrioes misses double 5. Clayton just misses tops to level the scores. Humphries has five left and busts. Clayton misses three massive chances to break. Humphries eventually checks out on double 2 to make it 7-5.

Another 180 for Humphries to kick off the next leg, but Clayton holds the leg with a double 6: 7-6 to Humphries.

20:36 BST - Both players are staring down 104, Humphries leaves 48. Clayton can't put it away either, so Humphries has a go but misses his double. Clayton comes back and takes out double 5 to make it 6-3.

Humphries has the darts in the 10th leg. Clayton gets down to 47 and takes out 15, double 16 to claw his way back to 6-4 at the intermission.

20:33 BST - Humphries hits a 180 in the next, his second and the third of the match. He leaves 32 and takes out double 8 to make it four legs on the spin. Clayton takes out a fine bullseye finish to take out 84 and bring it back to 4-2.

Cool Hand is averaging a little over 100, Clayton a smidgen under. Humphries hits a third maximum to leave 81 and break back, but he misses double 16. Clayton isn't on a finish, so he returns to take it out, albeit in two darts. It's 5-2 to the world number two.

With his average dwindling, Clayton hits a timely 180, the fifth of the match. However, it's Humphries with the finish, taking out 24 to restore his four-leg gap.

20:25 BST - We're underway, and Clayton has the darts first. The Ferret starts strongly and leaves 58 with Humphries a long way away. He takes it out via tops to make it 1-0. Humphries responds with a 180. He leaves 46 and pins double 16 to make it 1-1. Humphries misses a chance to break, but comes back and takes out 40 in two darts to break and make it 2-1.

A series of 140s ring out in the fourth leg. Humphries misses double 6 to take out 81, but he'll get another shot. Humphries eventually takes out double three to make it 3-1.

20:15 BST - Up next, defending champion Luke Humphries takes on former winner Jonny Clayton.

Humphries is aiming to join Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen in becoming only the third player to win back-to-back Premier League titles, having toppled Luke Littler in last year's final.

They're making their way to the oche now.

20:02 BST - A 98.47 average for Littler compared to Price's ton, and the Welshman also drastically recovered his finishing to 45 per cent, marginally ahead of Littler's.

A great effort from the Iceman, while Littler will be mightily relieved.

19:59 BST - RESULT: LITTLER 10-9 PRICE

Price hits a maximum to apply real pressure to Littler, and narrowly misses bull to level it. Littler can't take out a big fish, and Price hits double 12 to miraculously make it 9-9.

Littler kicks off the deciding leg with a 180. Littler sets up 32 with Price miles off a finish, and it looks like his race is run. Littler misses a sixth match dart before finally hitting double 16 and clinching the match 10-9. Cracking match!

19:55 BST - Littler leaves 51 to seal the deal, but can't take it out. He misses five match darts, and Price swoops in to steal the leg, but it may be too little, too late.

A rare trebleless visit to open up for Littler. Price is fighting until the end here, and he takes control of the leg. Double 12 gives Price hope as he reduces the deficit to three legs.

Littler is unimpressed with Price's "big fish reeling' antics and seems to complain to the referee. In the meantime, Price sinks double 20 to notch up another leg; it's now 9-7 to Littler.

The Nuke has the darts and surely wants to put this to bed, but he's gone right off the boil. Price is suddenly right back in this and takes out 124 via double 11 for his third ton-plus finish. From 9-4 down, it's now 9-8.

19:49 BST - The Nuke has the darts as we hit the 11th leg, and he pins his fourth 180. He leaves 81 and takes it out via double 15 to extend his lead to three legs.

Back-to-back 180s from both, and Littler leaves 40. Price leaves tops but can't take it out, and Littler punishes, making it 8-4.

Gezzy is only 33 per cent on the doubles; that's where the match is being lost for him.

Littler hits another maximum and races to leave 86, but he makes a mess of it. Price is on 177 and then suffers a bounce out, and it feels like it's slipping away. Littler punishes again via double 10 to make it 9-4 - that's five legs on the spin for the world number one.

19:40 BST - Littler is comfortable taking out 48 to make it 4-3. Littler's on a finish first against the throw in the next leg, but he can't take out 148. Price has 115 and manages to pin double 18 despite the pressure, and his trademark roar follows. It's 4-4.

Two ton-polus finishes for Price, none so far for Littler. The Nuke is a whisker away from bull for a 164 checkout. Price misses tops to steal it, and Littler takes out double 10 to restore his lead at 5-4.

He turns around and roars to the crowd in defiance as the pair walk off stage for the intermission. It's 6-4 Littler.

19:32 BST - Both players leave a big fish, but Littler misses the bull. Price can't get his going. With 49 left, Littler hits nine, double 20 to make it 3-2.

Price with the darts in the sixth leg, and he races to leave 40, which goes out in one attempt. Another 12-dart leg and we're all square at 3-3.

19:29 BST - The scoring drops off in the third leg, with bounce-outs and swerving darts galore. Price leaves a 137 and takes it out with double 10 to make it 2-1 and break back.

Price is averaging around 109, higher than Littler at this early stage. Another 180 for the Welshman, and he takes out 41 for a 12-darter: 2-2.

19:26 BST - Littler has the darts first. He leaves a 154, but can't get it going. Price steps up with 121 but sways into treble two. Littler sets up 40, and Price wildly misses double 20 to take his out. Littler pins double 10 for a 17-dart hold.

Littler hits a 180  to start the second leg, and Price responds in kind. The Welshman hits another and eventually leaves 25. Littler can't take out 104, and Price makes a mess on his doubles. Littler pins tops to break and make it 2-0.

19:19 BST - Very loud boos for Littler, too...

19:18 BST - The players are on their way.

First up, it's Gerwyn Price to a chorus of pantomime boos. Will Littler be hearing the same?

19:13 BST - The first match sees Littler and Price renew their rivalry in the capital - a repeat of last year's semi-final.

Littler has amassed six nightly wins across the season, equalling his own record, to confirm top spot for a third consecutive year.
