Navigating the goal scorer stats
Where to start? It's definitely worth getting an idea of which goal scorers are shining in any given league. With Flashscore, it's really easy. Here’s how to quickly find what you need ahead of kick-off.

1. Visit the Flashscore app or site.
2. Select your preferred league, tap on Standings, and Top scorers.
3. You’ll see the leading scorers.
Easy, right?
Tracking player form
Having an overview of the top goalscorers is great, but it's also clear that everyone's form fluctuates. That's why it's important to check how a player is doing right now.
You can find this out easily, too. Just click on the player's name – in the goalscorer table, or anywhere else – and you'll instantly see an overview of their recent matches.

Scroll down the page to view if a player started a match or was on the bench. Which games they’ve scored in, if they were booked or sent off, and any assists.
What can tracking a player’s form at Flashscore tell you? There are several ways a player’s latest stats can help you secure a profit. The info shows if they’ve been active or rested, if they’ve scored or drawn a blank, if they’re team has been winning and by how many goals. Use that information to predict first or anytime scorer, total goals, to score multiple goals, to provide an assist, or to be sent off.
Checking advanced player stats
Found a goalscorer you believe in for their next match? It's worth checking them out a bit more thoroughly. This is where one of Flashscore's newest features comes in handy – detailed player stats for specific matches.
Let's say you've picked Jean-Philippe Mateta. When you click on his latest match in his player profile and then on the Player stats tab, you'll find out that he had two shots on target, his Expected goals were 0.96, and that he had 5 touches in the opposition box, the most of any player. From this, you can get a good picture of how he performed in his last match. And at the same time, you might discover an interesting stat for some other player in the Player stats overview that you would have otherwise overlooked.

Checking position in lineup
There’s little point in spending time studying a player’s stats and placing a bet on them to score if they’re not going to start the match. Knowing if a player is in the starting lineup, on the bench, or missing the game completely makes a huge difference to football gamblers.

To see if your pick is included in the official or predicted lineups, depending on the time, you must click on fixtures, the game in question, and the lineups. Is your pick set to start the game? Click on their profile to view more vital stats.
If you pick a player to score first and he doesn’t start the game or hasn’t featured before the opening goal, your bet is void and the bookmaker will return your funds. If your player starts, but is substituted before the first goal, your bet counts and is a loser.
