They've won four Eliteseren titles since 2020 and shattered goalscoring records in their domestic league, which has led them to prominent appearances in Europe's major competitions.
Bodo/Glimt reached the semi-finals of the Europa League last season and went a step further to qualify for the Champions League this term.
Their rise hits its next peak on Tuesday evening when they welcome English football giants Manchester City - and as part of an exclusive round table interview alongside the likes of BBC Sport, TalkSPORT and PA Media, Flashscore spoke to Sporting Director Havard Sakariassen about the club's rapid growth.
"I think we have a true focus on building a strong culture in our club, based on team values," Sakariassen said.
"Everyone in the team understands Norwegian, so all communication can be in our language. That's also a strength to our side.
"To be able to compete with the biggest names on the footballing stage, it's remarkable. Luckily, we are building a unit, this is a football team, not individuals, and if we are able to build a strong enough collective, that's how we are able to compete."

A Norwegian core of players
Bodo/Glimt have taken Norway by storm in recent seasons and are the nation's most successful club since the start of the decade - a rise that has coincided with a huge boost for Norwegian football in general.
The national team recently qualified for a World Cup for the first time in 28 years and, while spearheaded by global stars Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard, the majority of the squad developed their craft in the Eliteseren.
No fewer than four current Bodo/Glimt players have been called up to the Norway side in recent times, with Patrick Berg, Fredrik Bjorkan, Jens Petter Hauge and Jostein Gundersen all selected at various points.
Three of those four are products of Bodo's youth academy - another key component to their rise in stature.
"I think it's a huge advantage for us that we had a lot of local lads coming up when we had a breakthrough, because they have provided us with a lot of continuity over the years," Sakariassen explained.
"It's a rare case in modern football that a small team like us, with success, are able to hold on to the players.
"It's quite fantastic that they have the journey with us, they will be important for this club in the years to come."
The club has won Eliteseren titles in 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024; their first-ever was by a record margin, finishing 19 points ahead of second place.
Bodo/Glimt have also developed an attacking style of play, setting the record for most goals scored in a single league campaign after netting 103 from 30 fixtures.
As a former player, Sakariassen's experience was vastly different, with the club in the second tier when he hung up his boots in 2011.
"If you go back to when I was playing, I think you would have had quite an imagination if you thought that (we would be here).
"Nobody could have guessed where we would be today."
Challenging Man City
Bodo/Glimt's latest test comes against English powerhouses Manchester City.
The Norwegian club currently sit outside of the qualifying spots in the table for the Champions League's league phase but are not yet eliminated from the competition.
Sakariassen has seen the team face the likes of Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham whilst in the role of Sporting Director - some of the biggest games in the club's history.
Hosting Manchester City represents yet another huge milestone for the Norwegian side.
"We have played a lot of games, but Manchester City is an amazing game against a tremendous team that have been leaders in European football for many years.
"It's not necessary to rate things like that (biggest game in club history), but this is a huge challenge, and we really look forward to playing against them.
"Hopefully we can perform and learn a lot from the game, but when you say Champions League against Manchester City, it's quite the game for us."
