Celtic took a cautious approach in the early going, looking to control the game but sacrificing attacking intent in favour of keeping the ball. However, that approach almost paid dividends as they almost grabbed the opening goal when Paulo Bernardo’s free-kick curled just over the bar.
The home side struggled to create any scoring chances, but Sandro Kulenović did have a sight of goal on 29 minutes as a loose ball fell to him in the box, but he didn’t connect well with the volley and skewed the ball well wide.
A drab first half failed to produce a single shot on target from either side, so luckily for the crowd the contest livened up after the restart.

A win was there for the taking, and it was Celtic who came close to grabbing it when Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel diverted Nicolas Kühn’s goalbound effort over the bar.
Cameron Carter-Vickers was the next to come close as Dinamo couldn’t clear the ball from the box, but the American defender was off balance and blazed his shot high over the bar.
It wasn’t one-way traffic however as the hosts looked dangerous on the counter, with Martin Baturina sweeping an effort just over the bar from the edge of the area.
Brendan Rodgers opted to roll the dice as the game wore on with a series of attacking changes, but it was the hosts who took control in the final stages and Marko Pjaca almost found the breakthrough with a looping header, but Kasper Schmeichel produced a fine fingertip save to turn it over.

In the final minutes it looked like Adam Idah was poised to tap the ball home and give the Hoops all three points, but a sensational piece of defending from Kévin Théophile-Catherine denied him and ensured the spoils were shared.
The point could be crucial for both sides, who sit inside the top-24 and in line for qualification with just two matchdays to go, with Celtic unbeaten in four UCL matches.
