18:05 BST - Bukayo Saka's return from injury has jolted Arsenal's attack back into life just in time for the Gunners to dream of a Premier League and Champions League double.

Saka scored and provided an assist for Viktor Gyokeres as Mikel Arteta's men bagged three goals for the first time in 16 games in Saturday's 3-0 win over Fulham.

All three goals arrived before Saka was withdrawn by Arteta at half-time to protect the England winger, who has been nursing an Achilles injury in recent months.

18:01 BST - The visitors have scored in 12 straight Champions League contests this season. They haven't been shut out since their last meeting with Arsenal, a league phase loss.

18:00 BST - For Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez, the consequences of Tuesday's Champions League semi-final clash at Arsenal may go beyond booking a ticket to Budapest at the end of May.

The Argentine forward, linked with a move to Arsenal as well as to Spanish champions Barcelona, has seemed at times to be getting itchy feet in the Spanish capital.

It is crucial for coach Diego Simeone and the club to convince Alvarez that he can achieve his dreams at Atletico by ousting Mikel Arteta's Premier League leaders in London.

17:29 BST - Mikel Arteta expects Arsenal to play like "beasts" against Atletico Madrid as they aim to reach the Champions League final for the first time since 2006.

Arteta's side earned a 1-1 draw in the semi-final first leg in Madrid last week, putting them in position to finish the job at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

After losing to Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals in 2025, Arteta said Arsenal are determined to go one step further this time.

"We will take to the pitch as beasts tomorrow and enjoy the moment and go for it," he told reporters on Monday.
