As ever, we've picked out the matches you really shouldn't miss on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Take a look at our European Highlights below.
Tuesday, December 9th
Inter v Liverpool
The final round of Champions League fixtures in 2025 sparks on Tuesday with a fascinating clash at the San Siro as Inter take on a struggling Liverpool side. Both Inter and Liverpool are in contention for a top-eight finish, but it is Arne Slot's men who are outside of the top eight and three points behind Inter heading into this clash.
Inter are in a more comfortable position in fourth and on 12 points. However, with the table so congested, a shock Liverpool win will see the Premier League holders move level on points with the Nerazzurri.
That is easier said than done when you consider the current state of affairs at Anfield. A thrilling 3-3 draw at Leeds United at the weekend was made worse by a sensational outburst from star player Mohamed Salah, who claimed the club had 'thrown him under the bus'. It has since been confirmed that Salah will not be in Liverpool's squad for the trip to Milan.
Salah's comments added fuel to a fire that is becoming increasingly difficult to put out for Slot, who now has to try and get a result against an Inter side second in Serie A, coming off an emphatic 4-0 win against Como on Saturday.
A win in Milan would be the perfect way to start turning the season around and putting out flames which, if not controlled soon, could see Liverpool's season crash and burn.
Wednesday, December 10th
Real Madrid v Manchester City
This clash has developed into a big modern rivalry over the last decade. It had previously been the red side of Manchester that Real Madrid had history with, but times have changed, and their modern feud with City has made this fixture one of the top heavyweight clashes in the footballing world.
The latest edition is an intriguing one, more due to domestic complexities than the Champions League standings, as both Real and Manchester City now find themselves chasers in their respective title races after Real's sudden dip in form, but in relatively comfortable spots in the continental standings.
In the Spanish capital, there has been a lot of talk of unrest in the dressing room as Xabi Alonso navigates big egos and high expectations. Those murmurs look to have reached boiling point as Real have reportedly been sounding out his replacement and could even pull the trigger if Real lose on Wednesday.
Just four points from their last three LaLiga matches have seen them slip four points behind title rivals Barcelona. In the Champions League, they are just three points off top spot, but that's simply par.
Manchester City, meanwhile, have found their attacking groove recently and moved just two points behind title favourites Arsenal in the Premier League with an impressive 3-0 win against Sunderland on Saturday.
Those three goals mean City have scored 11 goals in their last three league outings as Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku, Rayan Cherki, and Erling Haaland have all clicked into gear. All of a sudden, City look far more than a one-man attack; it is a forward line very much in sync and firing on all cylinders.
Real will have to be much better than they were when they lost 2-0 at home to Celta Vigo at the weekend, but with their current defensive fragilities coupled with City's red-hot attack, Pep Guardiola's side might have a field day.

Samsunspor v AEK Athens
Samsunspor might only be fifth in the Turkish Super Lig and 11 points off league leaders Galatasaray, but it speaks to the current strength of the Turkish league that they are top of the Conference League standings. Samsunspor's only dropped points from the opening four Matchdays came last time when they drew 2-2 away to Icelandic side Breidablik.
So they have reason to be confident at home against an AEK Athens side that have far from been convincing in the league phase. Two wins, a draw and a defeat so far mean AEK need to come away with three points to stay in the hunt for a top-eight finish, realistically.
Expect a deafening atmosphere between two clubs from countries notorious for making noise at home and away, especially against each other. This should be entertaining, and with so much at stake, a great way to kick off Thursday's matches.
Next week, the Conference league phase will wrap up, with all Matchday 6 fixtures occurring simultaneously at 21:00 CET on the 18th of December. There will be plenty on the line with teams pushing for playoff spots and survival in the tournament.

Celtic v AS Roma
Before even looking at the permutations, Celtic versus AS Roma is a standout encounter between two European giants and one to look forward to on Thursday evening.
Going to Celtic Park under the lights in Europe is never going to be an easy assignment to navigate, but Gian Piero Gasperini might just be fancying his chances as his Roma side travel to Scotland this week.
Celtic's miserable season took another dark turn at the weekend as they lost to title rivals Hearts, and it is not looking much better in Europe. Two wins, one draw and two defeats from their first five games is far from convincing, making their chances of securing a top-eight finish improbable.
What will provide newly appointed manager Wilfried Nancy some comfort is that Roma have lost their last two games in Serie A, and like Celtic, have been patchy in the Europa League. Three wins and two defeats leave them just two points above Celtic, and also in a battle to make the top eight or secure a playoff spot.
With all that in mind, this is a crucial clash between two European giants who could do with a victory to reignite their campaigns.
