Live Europa League and Conference League updates

22:50 GMT – Thanks for joining us this week! Stay tuned this weekend as we bring you all the latest news from the Premier League including Arsenal’s trip to West Ham and Liverpool's top of the table clash with Man City.

22:40 GMT - Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou cut a frustrated figure after seeing his side concede an injury-time equaliser to draw at home to Roma.

Reacting to the match, he told TNT Sports: "Yeah, mostly frustrating, particularly when they scored so late. Good game. We probably should've put it to bed a lot earlier, missed some big chances, and 2-1 you’re always going to keep them in the game so disappointing not to see it out.

"We created a lot of chances and we really should’ve been a bit more clinical and then we would’ve won the game."

22:17 GMT - Ruben Amorim has been speaking to TNT Sports and said his first match at Old Trafford was "special", despite some challenging periods in the game.

"I see what everyone sees. Good moments, difficult moments, some confusion in the end trying to keep the result," he said. "They ran, they pressed, they showed us what we had worked on. We won.

"Half of the stadium does not know me, I came from Portugal, I did nothing for this club yet, so the way they made me feel at home is so special. I will keep this to the end of my career.

"It was like a ride. We started well and then suffered two goals in two transitions. I liked that our players tried to play in the way we wanted. The players are really trying, I think we deserved to win."

21:54 GMT – Full-time whistles have blown around Europe. See match stats and reports from all the key games below – and stay tuned for reaction!

No penalty! The referee deems his original decision to be the correct one and waves away the penalty appeal. You rarely see that.

18:05 GMT - 20 minutes have gone and it's still goalless at the Voith-Arena in Germany. Chelsea are dominating possession and had a couple of decent chances so far but Heidenheim are holding firm.

17:45 GMT - And we're off!

17:40 GMT - We're five minutes away from the early kick-offs in the Europe League and Europa Conference League.

In the first match of the day, Astana drew 1-1 with Guimaraes.

16:50 GMT - The Conference League was clearly not designed for clubs like Chelsea. The Blues broke the record for the biggest win in the competition last time out (8-0 v Noah) and are currently top of the pile after three games with a +13 goal difference.

They look set to increase that tonight as they face Heidenheim, a team competing in Europe for the first time this season. Although the Germans are unbeaten in the Conference League so far, they are languishing just above the relegation zone in the Bundesliga.

Needless to say, Chelsea are - once again - heavy favourites. Kick-off is under an hour away.

16:30 GMT - Team news for Chelsea's trip to Heidenheim has just arrived and the big news is Jadon Sancho, who makes his first European start for the Blues.

20:26 GMT - GOAL! Club Brugge have taken a surprise lead against Celtic! It's an own-goal by Cameron Carter-Vickers, 1-0.

20:23 GMT - What a save! Thibaut Courtois does really well to deny Luis Diaz from point-blank range. A lovely bit of neat football by Liverpool to create the chance, it has to be said.

17:46 GMT - Tonight's early Champions League clashes have just started. You can follow them live here.

17:15 GMT - Manchester City are likely to still be in shock after throwing away a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 at home to Feyenoord last night with just 15 minutes of play remaining.

It stretched their winless run to six games in all competitions which seems almost unheard of for a side led by Pep Guardiola.

And with the small matter of a trip to Premier League leaders Liverpool coming up on Sunday, it's hard to see when this barren run ends.

16:00 GMT - Good afternoon and welcome back to our coverage of the fifth matchday in the Champions League!

Tuesday brought in plenty of drama and tonight should be no different, highlighted by a titanic clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid at Anfield.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa have a tasty clash against Juventus and Celtic host Club Brugge up in Scotland.

Follow the Champions League action here.

Tuesday, November 26th

23:21 GMT - That's it for this evening, thanks for joining us! We'll be back tomorrow for more Champions League action as Liverpool take on Real Madrid, Aston Villa face Juventus and Celtic play Club Brugge.

22:53 GMT - Mikel Arteta asked his players for a statement before the match, and he was delighted that they delivered.

"I'm very happy," he told TNT Sports after the game. "It's a big result against a big opponent. We wanted to make that statement.

"I felt really good energy and belief before the match. The first half was exceptional, you have to put it into practice."

"You have to enjoy (it)," he continued. "When you play in this competition against these team you have to enjoy it. What I loved about this team is the way that they flowed. They played with purpose.

"If you want to be challenging for big trophies you have to be consistent."

22:36 GMT - On the other end of the spectrum of success, Arsenal goalscorer Kai Havertz declared his side's performance as "exceptional" after they dispatched Sporting 5-1.

"Everyone was involved. The way we played was very good and we're very happy," he told TNT Sports.

"We played very well and we always found the space and free men. We had lots of solutions and we did very well.

"After last season's loss against Munich we wanted to do better, especially away from home. Today we wanted to turn it around and show we can win games away from home.

"Today we were exceptional and we can be proud of that."

22:26 GMT - Pep Guardiola has been speaking after his side's incredible draw, saying his team is "fragile".

"We lost a lot of games lately," he told Amazon Sport. "We are fragile, and of course we need a victory.

"The game was good for the confidence. We were playing at a good level and then for the first time something happened - we have problems."

Asked if the fragility is mental, Guardiola said: “I don’t know if it’s mental, it’s a question of techniques. The first goal cannot happen, and the second as well.

“After that of course we forget it happened, we are desperate to win, desperate to do well. We do well but we don’t win games.”

22:11 GMT - But while the headlines will all be about Pep Guardiola and his City players, let's take a moment to appreciate what was one of the all-time great European comebacks. It wasn't to win a trophy or even a knockout match, but still it's a night that the Feyenoord players and fans will remember for a lifetime.

22:07 GMT - Today marks one month exactly since the last time Manchester City won a match. Since beating Southampton 1-0 on 26 October, they are now six games without a win - and tonight was the only one of those six that was a draw. They are in a real slump.

21:56 GMT - FULL-TIME: Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have won 1-0 against PSG and Inter Milan have beaten RB Leipzig by the same scoreline.

21:54 GMT - FULL-TIME: It's all over at the Etihad, where City have conceded three late goals to draw 3-3 with Feyenoord. Pep Guardiola's post-match comments will be very interesting. Read our full report here.

16:30 GMT - Mikel Arteta has called on his Arsenal team to be "ruthless" as they seek to end their away-day blues in the Champions League against Sporting.

"I think we have made the right steps and, looking back with the way we played against Inter, which is a team that has been so dominant in their league, reached the final of the Champions League (in 2023), which they should have won, to play and dominate that game.

"But the reality is that you have to make it happen and we didn't.

"Making those steps is what we have to do next. Be ruthless, be efficient in the opposition box and do what we have to do to take the three points away from here."
