23:04 BST - Thanks for joining us tonight!

23:00 BST - Olympiacos held off a spirited comeback from Turkish side Fenerbahçe to win on penalties and make their way into the Conference League semi-finals where they will face Unai Emery's Aston Villa.

22:41 BST - Marseille will face Atalanta in the semi-finals of the Europa League after beating Benfica 4-2 in a penalty shootout after extra time could not separate the teams.

22:23 BST - There were also wins for Club Brugge against PAOK (3-0 on aggregate) as well as Fiorentina who beat Plzen 2-0 in extra time after the first leg had finished goalless. Club Brugge will face Fiorentina in the semi-finals while Aston Villa will face either Fenerbahce or Olympiacos.

22:12 BST - As recently as 30 hours ago there were five Premier League teams still in Europe, and as of now there is just one, Aston Villa. First Arsenal and Man City went out last night, and this evening West Ham and Liverpool have been accounted for. A poor run of results for the English teams.

22:06 BST - Meanwhile, Roma advanced to the semi-finals of a European competition for the fourth year running, winning 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpic tonight to complete a 3-1 aggregate victory over AC Milan. Here's the report from Rome.

21:57 - FULL TIME: There's the final whistle in east London. West Ham thought they were in dreamland when Antonio brought his side into the tie with a goal, but they were unable to make any further headway, and Frimpong finally sealed things to ensure Xabi Alonso's side remain unbeaten in all competitions this season.

21:54 - FULL-TIME: That is that, no more European football for Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp. It looked like they would turn the deficit around when they took the lead early on in the second leg through a Mo Salah penalty, but that was all that Liverpool were able to do tonight as their Europa League journey ends in a 3-1 defeat to Atalanta on aggregate.

20:51 BST - GOAL! A deflected one, but Bayer Leverkusen won't care because they are going through to the semi-finals thanks to Frimpong's goal which has put them out of reach.

21:28 BST - Liverpool haven't yet scored another goal, but they are still in this thanks to the fact that they still have a clean sheet. A good return for the first time in 243 days that Alisson, Van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold, Robertson and Konate have started together in defence.

20:52 BST - HALF-TIME: The referee has blown for the break in east London as well. Antonio has brought West Ham back into this tie with a well-taken goal, which sees West Ham lead 1-0 on the night and trail 2-1 on aggregate.

20:49 BST - HALF-TIME: Liverpool have pulled one goal back courtesy of Salah's penalty, but they need more if they are to overhaul Atalanta. Liverpool lead 1-0 at the break on the night but trail 3-1 on aggregate.

20:42 BST - Here are the key stats from Lille. It was a late goal from Cash that sent this tie into extra time, before Martinez became a villian in every sense of the word for the Lille fans.

20:36 BST - VILLA ARE THROUGH! Martinez saves two penalties to send Aston Villa into a European semi-final for the first time in 42 years. The shootout wasn't without its drama. Martinez saved the first penalty of the shootout, and gestured to silence the crowd. He continued riling up the fans and the referee finally had enough, showing him a yellow card. Martinez had been shown a yellow earlier in the game, but fortunately for him they don't carry over. He then saved the fifth to see his side home.

Click here for the full report from Lille.

20:20 BST - There's the full-time whistle in Lille as Aston Villa head to penalties. Can they hold their nerve?

20:15 BST - GOAL! West Ham are in this one! Antonio is the man to have scored with his head and brought his side back into this tie.

20:07 BST - GOAL! Liverpool are off! Salah steps up to take the penalty after Alexander-Arnold's attempted cross had hit Ruggeri's hand in the area.

The Liverpool players don't even celebrate, they just trot back to the centre circle. This is ominous for Atalanta.

20:01 BST - Just as we kick off in Atalanta and east London, the half-time whistle has sounded in Lille where West Ham are 15 minutes away from penalties.

19:41 BST - With a blow of the whistle we have reached the end of the 90 minutes in Lille, where Cash's incredibly late goal has sent West Ham's tie into extra time.

19:33 BST - GOAL! Villa are level on aggregate! Cash is the hero who has levelled it up, but it all came from the fact that the Atalanta keeper Chevalier bizarrely dropped the ball after colliding with his own team-mate. Villa won't care, what a time to score.

19:17 BST - Here's how the two teams line up this evening:

19:15 BST - Massive boost for West Ham fans as Jarrod Bowen is not only fit enough to feature tonight, but in fact will start.

Kurt Zouma, Aaron Cresswell and Tomas Soucek all come into the team as well due to a trio of enforced circumstances, with Lucas Paqueta and Emerson suspended and Kostas Mavropanos injured.

19:12 BST - GOAL! Villa are two down on the night and one behind in the tie. Benjamin Andre is the man to rise highest and head the ball into the top right corner from a corner. Villa have it all to do now.

19:07 BST - Here's how the two teams line up:

Atalanta v Liverpool team news

19:06 BST - Liverpool have made six changes to the side that started the first leg of their tie with Atalanta, with Alisson restored in goal and Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold also coming into the starting team.

Up front Mo Salah and Luis Diaz start, while Dominik Szoboszlai comes into the midfield.

18:35 BST - HALF-TIME: There's the referee's whistle in Lille. It was the perfect start for Lille who opened their account through Yazici's goal to level the tie on aggregate. It all means Villa have an uphill battle on their hands to get through this one.

No red cards as yet, but the referee has brandished three yellow cards to each side - including one for Emery for his protestations - so expect a fiesty second half.

Key stats from Lille

18:01 BST - GOAL! Terrible start for Villa. Lille sweep down the left and Gudmundsson sent a brilliant pass into the box which Yazici latched onto perfectly to slot home in the bottom left corner. All square in the tie now as Lille take a 1-0 lead on the night.

17:45 BST - And we are off in Lille! Aston Villa lead the tie 2-1, in what is their first quarter-final appearance for 26 years. If they make it to the semi-finals it will be their first appearance at that stage of a European competition since 1982.

16:50 BST - Diego Carlos and Morgan Rogers have dropped to the Aston Villa bench in the two changes made by Unai Emery following his side's 2-0 victory against Arsenal. Matty Cash and Douglas Luiz come into the starting XI to replace the pair.

Lille have made just the one change from the last time these two teams met as Yusuf Yazici comes into the XI for Edon Zhegrova.

23:23 BST - Speaking after Real Madrid's win over Champions League holders Manchester City, Jude Bellingham said: "It's relief. You put so much into the game. I've played against City before and they snatch it away from you. I was pretty much dead on my feet at the end."

23:19 BST - Speaking after Arsenal's defeat to Bayern Munich, Mikel Arteta said: "We wanted it so badly but you can see with many other clubs that sometimes it takes six or seven years to get to that stage. We were very close, that is the reality."

Shortly before that, Harry Kane told TNT Sports: "The expectation here is to try and win the Champions League. We won the (Bundesliga) for 11 years in a row so maybe there was a bit of tempo missing. That can't happen. Now we have to enjoy the Champions League and try to get ready for Saturday."

23:16 BST - As a reminder, here's how the semi-finals of the Champions League look:

17:15 BST - Hello and welcome back to Flashscore UK's Football Tracker! Tonight, we've got two titanic clashes in Manchester City v Real Madrid and Bayern Munich v Arsenal. We will keep you updated throughout both matches, beginning with the team news - due to drop around 18:45 BST.

Tuesday, April 17th

22:58 BST - Thanks for joining us this evening! To sum up, Barcelona were dumped out of the Champions League by their former manager, a former player, and the man who's about to head to their biggest rivals. That triumvirate will appear in the semi-finals of the Champions League where they will face Dortmund after the Germans saw off Atletico Madrid.

That's all for tonight, join us again tomorrow for two more huge Champions League quarter-finals as Manchester City host Real Madrid and Arsenal head to Bayern Munich.

22:45 BST - In other news, Portsmouth have won promotion to the Championship courtesy of their 3-2 win over Barnsley, which came courtesy of two late goals from Colby Bishop and Conor Shaughnessy.

22:36 BST - It was an incredible night for Dembele, who had a wide grin on his face as he left the field to a chorus of boos from the Barcelona fans. It did not faze him one bit, his goal was part of the reason PSG progressed to the semi-finals at the expense of his old club.

22:31 BST - While Mbappe was the man who sealed things for PSG, it was Sabitzer who did so for Dortmund. First with an assist for Fullkrug's goal - taking him to the top of the list for Champions League assists - and then a goal of his own to send his side into the semi-finals.

22:23 BST - And with those two goals, Mbappe has now top scorer in this season's Champions League. Can Kane and Haaland respond with more goals tomorrow?

22:15 BST - Before PSG hosted Barcelona in Paris last week, Mbappe warned the Spanish giants "I'm not going to hide".

"It's the time of the great players. I'm ready and, as always, I'm not going to hide," the PSG star told Telefoot.

He may not have landed the killer blow in the first leg, but his two goals tonight have seen PSG through to the Champions League semi-finals.

22:00 BST - FULL-TIME: Incredible turnaround from PSG, who came into this tie a goal behind on deficit and have won by two clear goals. The Barcelona players and fans were in great spirits when Raphinha scored to give his side a two-goal cushion.

However, first Araujo was sent off, and then came the PSG goals - one from ex-Barcelona man Dembele, then another from Vitinha and then two from Mbappe as PSG won 4-1 on the night to go through 6-4 on aggregate. Read the full report by clicking here.

21:54 BST - FULL-TIME: Dortmund are going through to the Champions League semi-finals after beating Atletico Madrid 4-2 on the night to go through 5-4 on aggregate. Incredible game, especially given how often the lead changed hands.

Dortmund were 2-1 ahead at half-time to bring the tie level. However, a Hummels own goal gave Atletico the lead shortly after the break. Then came the Sabitzer show, as he first put in a perfect cross for Fullkrug to head home, and then scored one of his own to give his side the all-important lead on aggregate to go through. Read the full report by clicking here.

21:51 BST - GOAL! PSG are going through to the Champions League semi-finals! It's Mbappe who turns the ball in from close range after a bit of pinball in the box, and that will be all she wrote in Spain. What a turnaround - PSG are 6-4 ahead on aggregate.

21:45 BST - As things stand after tonight's ten goals, the two sides that came into these fixtures with a goal deficit are going through to the Champions League semi-finals. Still a few minutes left for another twist, mind you.

21:34 BST - GOAL! Two in two minutes! Sabitzer turns from provider to scorer, teeing up from outside the box to score and put his side 4-2 ahead on the night, and one goal up on aggregate.

21:31 BST - GOAL! Dortmund are back ahead! It was a pin-perfect cross from Sabitzer from which Fullkrug steered the ball into the top corner with his head. 3-2 to Dortmund on the night.

21:26 BST - Barcelona have had one of their backroom sent off as well. That's three red cards shown to their team overall tonight.

21:23 BST - GOAL! Atletico have drawn level on the night! Correa is on hand to grab the rebound from Riquelme's shot and slot the ball home to give the Spanish side a one-goal lead on aggregate.

21:22 BST - GOAL! From bad to worse for Barcelona. Cancelo brings down Dembele in the area to give Mbappe a chance to step up and take a penalty. No surprises that the PSG striker sends the ball into the back of the net and from nowhere PSG are ahead on aggregate.

21:20 BST - RED CARD! Things are bubbling over and Barcelona boss Xavi has been shown a red card after he lost his temper in the technical area and kicked a piece out at a piece of equipment while throwing his arms about. Barcelona really need some calm heads out there.

21:17 BST - GOAL! PSG are ahead on the night! It comes from a corner, but really it's a bit of individual brilliance from Vitinha. He gets the ball on the edge of the area, and when nobody comes up to challenge him, he takes his time to pick out the bottom left corner and level things on aggregate. Sensational goal.

21:08 BST - GOAL! Atletico have pulled one back early in the second half. It goes down as a Hummels own goal, after he stuck his leg out to stop a header from Hermoso and inadvertedly turned the ball past his own keeper.

20:51 BST - HALF-TIME: That's half-time in Barcelona. The home side appeared to be cruising whent they went 1-0 up on the night through a Raphinha, but then Araujo was sent off for bringing down Barcola on the break, and Dembele then levelled things on the night. It all means Barcelona are a man down and only a goal ahead on aggregate. There promises to be a tasting second half in store for us.

20:49 BST - HALF-TIME: The referee blows his whistle for half-time at Signal Iduna Park, with Dortmund 2-0 up on the night and one goal ahead on aggregate thanks to goals from Brandt and Maatsen.

Key stats from Dortmund
Key stats from DortmundOpta by StatsPerform

20:42 BST - GOAL! It's that man Dembele again, scoring an important goal against his former club. Barcola sends a ball into the box and though Mbappe can't get on the end of it, Dembele flies down the right to latch onto the ball and send it crashing into the back of the net.

20:41 BST - GOAL! Dortmund are ahead on aggregate! Maatsen, from a similar angle to Brandt, beats the keeper with a neat finish to put his side 2-0 up on the night and one goal up on aggregate.

20:40 BST - Meanwhile in the Championship, Southampton are adding their name to the promotion-chasing debate; they are already 3-0 up against Preston North End after just 40 minutes. Huge result potentially incoming for Saints.

20:37 BST - RED CARD! That could be huge in the context of this tie. Araujo brings down Barcola in a threatening position, and the referee deemed it cynical enough to send the Barcelona man off.

20:35 BST - GOAL! Dortmund lead on the night! Atletico fail to clear the ball properly from deep in their own half. Dortmund work the ball to the left where Brandt gets it and slots it home from close range. The tie is now level on aggregate.

20:15 BST - GOAL! Barcelona have first blood! It was all PSG up to that point, but Barcelona moved the ball to the right once they finally got it, and Yamal did brilliantly to get past his man and send the ball into the box where Raphinha tucked it into the bottom corner. PSG now have a lot to do as they go 1-0 down on the night, but, more crucially, two goals behind on aggregate.

20:00 BST - We are underway in tonight's two Champions League fixtures. Who will be the first two teams to progress to the semi-finals?

19:47 BST - Hard to believe it's been five years since Messi-inspired Barcelona made the semi-finals of the Champions League!

19:34 BST - Luis Enrique said on Monday PSG are strong enough to turn around tonight's clash against Barcelona and reach the semi-finals.

"PSG have never come back to win after losing a first leg, but tomorrow is the day," he said.

"After a defeat and in such an important game, the days after the game were hard. It's tricky to get back your mental state, but the good thing about football is you have another game against the same opponent.

"We are sure of what we want do and I think we arrive in a great moment."

Here's how it ended in Wednesday's first leg:

19:19 BST - Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone said this week he is wary of Borussia Dortmund's power at home, which he feels could cause an upset in the return leg.

"They are a very strong team at home, they will surely start with a high tempo and we have to keep up the level we've been playing at in our last few games," Simeone told reporters ahead of the game at Signal Iduna Park.

"I'm sure they will come out strong, they have a lot of skilful people on the wings, people in the middle who come in very well from the second line too. They work very well on set pieces and we will look to take the game where we think we can hurt them."

Here's a reminder of how the first leg played out:
