Galatasaray supporters set off fireworks outside the Liverpool team hotel this week ahead of their Champions League clash.

The Turkish giants host Arne Slot's side at RAMS Park on Tuesday evening for the first time since July 2011, when Galatasaray picked apart The Reds in a 3-0 victory. 

Eintracht Frankfurt beat Galatasaray 5-1 in their opening game, whilst Liverpool beat La Liga side Atletico Madrid 3-2, and now each team heads into the game in the hopes of climbing the table. 

On Monday night, however, Turkish fans let off fireworks outside the hotel that the Reds were said to be staying at, which will not help preparation before the game, which will be tough enough in front of the away fans. 

Sleep inside said building is likely to have been disrupted by the banging and screeching outside which could affect Liverpool’s performance, which was sloppy against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon as they lost 2-1.
