Son Heung-min returned to Tottenham this week as he waved goodbye to supporters.

Son was in the stadium for his formal farewell to the Spurs fans, who were greeted with a 3-0 win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League in a win that saw them record back-to-back wins for the first time since mid-September.

The club legend was given a commemorative golden cockerel by club legend Ledley King and spoke to fans ahead of kick-off as he invited supporters to support him in the MLS.

"Good evening, everyone. It's Sonny here. I hope you guys don't forget me. It's been an amazing 10 years, guys, an incredible 10 years. Just want to say thank you and I will be always Spurs, and I will always be with you.

"This will always be my home. This will always be by home. I will never forget you. Please stay with me and come visit LA when you want, I would love to have you guys. I love you all, guys. Come on you Spurs!"

Work has been ongoing in recent days on a mural on Tottenham High Road, which shows Son's trademark celebration and him lifting the Europa League trophy last season with the caption: "Sonny, Spurs legend."

Son, who scored 173 goals for Spurs and led the club to their first trophy in 17 years, will be forever remembered as a club legend and he will surely return to the stadium again later this season.
