This match gave us a solid profit last Wednesday, banking a Celtic win, the Hoops to score more than one goal, and Benjamin Nygren to find the net.
In the second leg, I open with a bet on the match producing fewer than four goals. Here, you’re not concerned by which club wins, qualifies, or who scores. As long as this game replicates last week in Glasgow, with under 3.5 goals, you’ll boost your betting balance.
The first leg finished with a combined 37 shots, but I expect a much less entertaining evening this time. Martin O’Neill is as experienced as they come, and takes his Scottish champions to Austria following a week off.
Six days to prepare for the biggest game of their season so far will ensure Celtic are fully rested, fit, fresh, and ready to battle their way past a strong opponent and into the competition proper.

Celtic scored three at home, thanks to Nygren and a double from Duran, but LASK had a few chances themselves.
The Austrian Bundesliga champions ended with just 35% of the ball possession but created 20 shots at goal, with eight on target. LASK had 30 touches inside their opponent’s box, three more than Celtic. The beaten team also forced goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo into making four important saves.
LASK may not have scored in Glasgow, and that’ll likely come back to haunt them, but they did have the ball in the net twice in the opening 45 minutes. Both goals were ruled out for a marginal offside, including one from Moses Usor inside 30 seconds. There wasn’t much in it, and it would’ve been a very different game if that stunning strike had counted.
Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers was beaten for speed a few times in his team’s 3-0 win. He was outpaced by Samuel Adeniran moments after the disallowed goal, but the eye-catching American striker choked when through on Sinisalo. The same man sent a powerful header crashing into the Celtic net for 1-1, but he too was offside.
Yes, LASK lost the first leg, and yes, they’ll probably be eliminated as a result, but they are a goal threat, and I expect the strikers to be much more ruthless on their patch.

Anytime scorer - Adeniran
My third and final LASK v Celtic Champions League play-off second leg prediction is on the aforementioned Adeniran to score.
A goal inside the opening minute to give his team a 1-0 lead pays the same as the 27-year-old Texan getting a consolation near the end of a 5-1 defeat. If Adeniran goes one better than last week and gets on the scoresheet, you’ll deliver a blow to the bookies.
Adeniran’s stats show he has played four games for LASK so far this term, scoring four goals. He hit two in a league win over GAK 1902 and another couple when his side thumped Ried 4-1. Let’s not forget how lively he was at Celtic Park.
Adeniran caught my eye in the first leg. He was quick, strong, and direct, always desperate to get LASK on the front foot, and never needing an invitation to shoot. He was LASK's standout performer, and will be again on Tuesday.
What jumped off the page at me when researching LASK vs Celtic was that Adeniran’s four goals all came in home matches, while drawing a blank on his travels.
Looking at last season, Adeniran scored 10 goals in 30 appearances, with a goal in each of his last three games of the 2025/26 campaign. Five of those strikes came at the Raiffeisen Arena. Tuesday is a fantastic opportunity to showcase his talents to a wider audience, win some new fans, and make headlines.
