21:58 GMT - We'll have reaction coming up shortly.

In the meantime, here's a full rundown of the quarter-final fixtures, with just Arsenal and Liverpool left flying the flag for England:

QF fixtures
QF fixturesFlashscore

21:54 GMT - FULL-TIME!

Bayern Munich 4-1 Atalanta (10-2)

Liverpool 4-0 Galatasaray (4-1)

Tottenham 3-2 Atletico Madrid (5-7)

21:50 GMT - Huge chance for Kolo Muani to make things very interesting, but his shot is expertly blocked.

21:49 GMT - GOAL! Xavi Simons blasts the ball into the net to make it 3-2 on the night.

21:48 GMT - PENALTY TO TOTTENHAM!

Xavi Simons is clearly fouled in the box by Jose Maria Gimenez - who literally just came on.

21:33 GMT - GOAL! That's probably game over for spirited Spurs as David Hancko connects with a Julian Alvarez corner to make it 2-2.

It's 7-4 to the Spaniards with a little over 15 minutes to go.

21:26 GMT - That's Salah's 50th goal in the UEFA Champions League proper - he's the first African player to reach the milestone.

Coincidentally, Harry Kane's bagged his 50th tonight as well.

21:23 GMT - GOAL! Moments after having another ruled out by VAR, Mohammed Salah adds a fourth for Liverpool, who are running riot against Galatasaray now.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich are now 3-0 up against Atalanta - that's 9-1 on aggregate.

21:15 GMT - GOAL! Ryan Gravenberch coolly slots the ball home after a brilliant team effort.

21:12 GMT - GOAL! Hugo Ekitike strikes to put Liverpool 2-0 up on the night and 2-1 to the good on aggregate.

21:10 GMT - GOAL! What a goal from Xavi Simons! He fires a long-distance strike and curls the ball into the corner to make it 2-1 on the night.

21:06 GMT - GOAL! Julian Alvarez completes a rapid counterattack to bring Atletico level almost immediately from the restart.

21:04 GMT - The second half is kicking off.

20:50 GMT - HALF-TIME!

Bayern Munich 1-0 Atalanta

Liverpool 1-0 Galatasaray

Tottenham 1-0 Atletico Madrid

20:49 GMT - PENALTY MISSED!

Mo Salah fluffs his lines and sees his penalty saved.

20:47 GMT - PENALTY TO LIVERPOOL!

Ismail Jakobs trips Jeremie Frimpong in the box.

20:45 GMT - Vicario makes a stunning save from Giuliano Simeone's long strike as Atletico seek a leveller before the break.

20:38 GMT - Tottenham Hotspur have attempted five shots on target in this match, already higher than their average of 4.7 in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League.

20:30 GMT - GOAL! Tottenham take the lead against Atletico Madrid!

Randal Kolo Muani connects with a great delivery from Mathy Tel to put Spurs 1-0 up on the night.

20:27 GMT - GOAL! Right as I say that, Liverpool take the lead through a fine long-range effort from Dominik Szoboszlai.

20:26 GMT - It's been a quieter start when compared to the Barcelona and Newcastle match.

Spurs have started quite well against Atletico Madrid, while Liverpool are very much on top against Galatasaray. Still, both games are goalless.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich are ahead on the night in what is effectively a dead rubber against Atalanta after Harry Kane's retaken penalty finds the back of the net.

20:06 GMT - Ademola Lookman has the ball in the back of Tottenham's net, but it's ruled out for offside.

VAR is checking, though. It looks rather tight... No goal!

20:00 GMT - We are up and running in the final games of the Champions League last 16.

19:45 GMT - We'll have some reaction to that match a little later.

For now, we're switching our attention to the final three last 16 fixtures.

Kick-off is in 15 minutes - scroll down to see the lineups for the Premier League sides.

19:41 GMT - FULL-TIME! Newcastle are dumped out by Barcelona. It ends 8-3 on aggregate.

19:22 GMT - GOAL! A mistake from Aaron Ramsdale gifts Raphinha another. It's now 7-2 to the home side.

Newcastle still have around 20 minutes to wait for the final whistle.

19:14 GMT - Barcelona have had 73 per cent possession over the opening 15 minutes of the second half.

19:11 GMT - GOAL! Whatever Hansi Flick has said at half-time has done the trick. Robert Lewandowski buries his second and Barcelona's sixth of the evening.

The Magpies have been utterly blown away at the start of this second half.

19:08 GMT - Newcastle United have now conceded eight goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half, more than any other team in this season's UEFA Champions League.

19:06 GMT - Barcelona have a fifth 10 minutes into the second half, as Robert Lewandowski rises highest to nod home from a dangerous corner.

Everything's unravelling for the Magpies all of a sudden.

19:02 GMT - GOAL! Advantage Barcelona!

Newcastle are split open by some exquisite football, and Fermin Lopez - who times his run perfectly - carries the ball from near the halfway line before slotting home to make it 4-2 on the night and 5-3 on aggregate.

18:56 GMT - The second half is underway.

18:52 GMT - Lamine Yamal has scored his fifth goal of the 2025 UEFA Champions League, no Barcelona player has more.

He's also the youngest player to score 10 Champions League goals.

18:38 GMT - HALF-TIME! What a 45 minutes that was!

18:38 GMT - GOAL! Aaron Ramsdale goes the right way, but Lamine Yamal scores to the keeper's left. It's 3-2 to Barcelona just before the break.

18:36 GMT - PENALTY TO BARCELONA.

Just a yellow card for Trippier, which he's lucky about.

18:35 GMT - VAR is checking for a penalty for Barcelona after Kieran Trippier appears to pull Raphinha back...

18:26 GMT - Dan Burn delivers an expert piece of defending to prevent Robert Lewandowski from capitalising on a Barcelona counterattack.

18:13 GMT - GOAL! Newcastle are level again, and it's Elanga at the far post with the finish after an excellent ball across the box from Harvey Barnes. It's 2-2.

18:04 GMT - GOAL! Newcastle switch off at the back, and Marc Bernal taps home a smart set-piece to restore Barcelona's lead.

That's the first-ever Champions League goal for the 18-year-old. It's 2-1 to the Spanish side.

18:01 GMT - GOAL! Anthony Elanga levels for Newcastle.

Lewis Hall does excellently in the build-up, running down the wing, playing a one-two with Harvey Barnes before playing a great ball to the Swede, who calmly hits the back of the net. All square again.

17:51 GMT - GOAL! Barcelona grab an early goal!

Lamine Yamal starts off the play with an excellent turn before playing the ball forward. It eventually ends up with Raphinha after a pass by Fermin Lopez, and the Brazilian tidily slots the ball into the net to put the Catalans ahead.

17:45 GMT - We're underway at Camp Nou.

17:42 GMT - Hosts Barcelona have been tough to beat at home this Champions League season, with three wins and just one loss in four contests. Barça have a 15-match home winning streak in all competitions.

Can Newcastle do the business tonight? We're about to find out!

16:58 GMT - The lineups are in for Newcastle's trip to Barcelona, with the only surprise being Kieran Trippier getting the nod ahead of Tino Livramento:

16:49 GMT - Arne Slot insists he can win back the support of Liverpool's frustrated fans after admitting he "must have done a lot of things wrong".

Slot has come under fire throughout Liverpool's dismal Premier League title defence and the Reds boss will face increased scrutiny if his side crash out of the Champions League against Galatasaray on Wednesday.

"It's never nice they are frustrated because usually fans are not frustrated after you win," Slot said on Tuesday.

"People told me when I came here that they will support the manager for such a long time, but if you are supposing something then I must have done a lot of things wrong.

"That's never a nice feeling to have because being in the club that's always so supportive for the manager, in good and bad times, then if they are not happy with me, then apparently I've done so many things wrong."

16:46 GMT - Newcastle coach Eddie Howe on Tuesday called on his players to grow rather than shrink under the lights at Camp Nou when they face Barcelona in the Champions League last 16.

"I don't think they will (be overawed), we've got an experienced group, we've got many players who have played in so many big games now we've become accustomed to it," Howe told reporters.

"You almost want that size of the game to lift the players and to make us grow - certainly we can't shrink - but with many, many internationals within the squad I don't see that as an issue."

16:31 GMT - Four more sides will take their place in the Champions League quarter-finals this evening, joining Arsenal, Sporting, PSG and Real Madrid.

Newcastle visit Spanish giants Barcelona first (kick-off is at 17:45 GMT) before Bayern Munich host Atalanta, Spurs welcome Atletico Madrid and Liverpool face Galatasaray (all at 20:00 GMT).

Everyone asks where I get my energy from. I just get this second burst of energy."

On his goal, he added: "I stepped in front of him, the first touch set me up for everything, there was nowhere else to go, so I just went for it. You find it in your belly somewhere to keep on fighting, to make the tackles, to win."
