The Czech side comes into the game sitting 28th in the League Phase standings, having drawn two matches and lost one so far.
The two sides have been defensively sound in recent weeks, with Slavia not conceding in their last five games in all competitions, whilst Arsenal’s last goal against came at the end of September.
This is unlikely to be a stalemate, though. The Gunners have become an efficient winning machine this season, clinical with their chances and ruthless at the back. Trpisovsky, then, is under no illusions that it will be a tough night at Fortuna Arena.
Speaking ahead of the game, he said: "If I were to list everything that is dangerous about them, we wouldn't make it to training, so I'll try to generalise.
"They're a mature team that controls games. It has tremendous technical quality, the players are big, strong, fast and also in top form right now. They don't let the opponents finish because Arsenal have a lot of control. With how strong they are, and they have probably the best enforcer (Declan Rice) in the world.
“From my point of view, they are the team with the best form right now and are the most balanced. They have a coach who has been there a long time, they have a stable core, and they regularly add top players to the squad. If someone drops out, they bring in a replacement of the same quality immediately."
Corners have become a killer weapon for Arsenal this season. They have scored eight of them in 10 Premier League games so far, and the Slavia boss believes they are ‘astounding’ when it comes to their set plays.
He added: “If, for example, Igoh Ogbu, our most dominant player in defensive situations, were available, it would be different. I have to say that Arsenal's standards are astounding. I've never seen anything like it. They have everything coming together - height, power, timing, head play and most importantly, that playmaking from Rice.
"They are so complex overall, you have to think of everything. Arsenal create a huge amount of pressure on the first pass. It will be a test for our players. You can't just focus on one thing. It's also important to be active up front."
Slavia’s manager doesn’t want to just focus on that. With a squad that is in a confident mood after an unbeaten October and a battling 2-0 win on the weekend against Banik Ostrava, he is still unsure how they will line up.
Trpisovsky explained: "We still have to train, and we played a very demanding game on Saturday, one of the most demanding games of the whole season in terms of intensity. So we will see after the training what condition the players will be in. Some of them have played three games this week, so of course, it adds up.
“But we believe that we will come together for this game. As far as health is concerned, I think it will be similar to Saturday. David Doudera has already trained with us and completed part of the match, so he might be the only player who will be added."
