The latest Championship action has passed, with all 24 teams in action across a weekend that saw the top two maintain their unbeaten runs as well as some big results towards the bottom of the table.

Both Coventry and Middlesbrough remain the only two unbeaten clubs in the division after seven games, while Sheffield United picked up their first win of the campaign.

Elsewhere, Ipswich secured their second win of the season with a 2-1 victory against Portsmouth and newly promoted Charlton climbed to seventh following a 3-0 thrashing of Blackburn.

Flashscore takes a look at all the major talking points in our Championship round-up.

Coventry take bragging rights over Birmingham

Coventry continued their superb start to the season with a 3-0 win over local rivals Birmingham to climb up to second in the table.

Frank Lampard's side are still yet to lose a league game this term and have bounced back excellently from their play-off heartache last time out.

The Sky Blues boast the best attack in the Championship at the time of writing with 18 goals and two of the division's joint-top scorers in Victor Torp and Haji Wright (both on five goals).

Torp netted in their latest triumph, following Brandon Thomas-Asante's opener and a Bright Osayi-Samuel own goal.

Lampard's side took full advantage of their opponents going down to 10 men after two yellow cards for Jack Robinson - securing bragging rights over local rivals Birmingham.

Granted, the newly promoted club have their sights set on other teams when it comes to their fiercest rivals, but there's still plenty of history there with Coventry.

The result won't derail Birmingham's campaign completely after a solid start, but it's important for manager Chris Davies not to let his side slip into a bad run approaching the international break.

A mixed bag of three wins, a draw and three defeats leaves the Blues sat in 11th place and just two points outside the play-offs - a realistic target following several promising additions over the summer.

Charlton building momentum

Another newly promoted club to start the campaign in strong form is Charlton, who moved to seventh in the table after their 3-0 win over Blackburn.

The Addicks have quietly gone under the radar so far but look to have all the key components to stay in the division - most notably a strong defence.

With just five goals conceded, Charlton have the joint-best defensive record in the entire league.

A slight worry before the weekend was whether Nathan Jones's side could equally provide enough going forward, given that before Saturday, they had not scored more than once in a single match.

That changed against Rovers, though, with Macaulay Gillesphey, Sonny Carey and James Bree all on target to secure another valuable three points.

The Addicks would have been tipped by many to go back down before the season began, but a surprisingly strong start, coupled with some clever summer transfers, has given them a great chance of establishing themselves back in the Championship.

While every arrival bar Bree (Southampton), Joe Rankin-Costello (Blackburn) and Charlie Kelman (QPR) joined from League One, several appear to be smart additions to the squad.

Thomas Kaminski, Amari'i Bell and Reece Burke all arrived from Luton and have slotted seamlessly into that successful defensive unit - while Tanto Olaofe, signed from Stockport, is showing plenty of promise up top.

The ingredients are there for Charlton to have an enjoyable first campaign back in the Championship, and survival is absolutely achievable after a fast start this term.

Sheffield United finally win

The Championship's bottom club, Sheffield United, finally picked up their first win of the season, with Callum O'Hare netting the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory over Oxford.

The Blades have struggled majorly over the last couple of months after losing out in the play-off final and then facing defeat in their opening six league matches.

Those events saw quite the change at Bramall Lane; Chris Wilder was sacked back in May, replaced by Ruben Selles, who was then sacked himself and replaced once more by a returning Wilder.

Wilder - a club legend in his own right - has finally taken the first step to getting United's season back on track with the win over Oxford.

O'Hare grabbed the only goal of the match by controlling superbly in the box and firing into the bottom corner to net only the Blades' second of the league campaign.

They have a mountain to climb, but with some top players still in the squad and hopefully some stability with Wilder back in charge, United might start looking upwards going into the second quarter of the season.

Brereton Diaz on target for Derby

Ben Brereton Diaz scored his first goal for Derby in their 1-1 draw against Wrexham, nutmegging Lewis Brunt before curling a delightful effort into the top corner.

The Chilean joined Derby on loan from Southampton at the end of the transfer window and showed exactly what sort of quality he can bring - helping the Rams move out of the relegation zone with a much-needed point.

Take a look at our Championship Goal of the Week:

Louza and Iversen excel

Both Imran Louza and Daniel Iversen picked up 8.7 Flashscore ratings last weekend - meaning they're the first joint-player of the week for this season.

Louza grabbed a goal and an assist in Watford's 2-1 win over Hull, while Iversen was imperious in Preston's 0-0 draw with Bristol City - making eight saves to secure a third clean sheet of the season.
