Blackburn Rovers defeated Millwall 4-3 to just miss out on the play-offs via goal difference as they staged an epic second-half comeback at The Den. Rovers’ stunning performance derailed Millwall’s play-off hopes, although it wasn’t enough to secure a top six spot themselves.
Middlesbrough 1-1 Coventry
Coventry City confirmed their spot in the playoffs with a nervy 1-1 Championship finale draw away to Middlesbrough. In doing so, the Sky Blues become only the third side since 1968/69 to finish in the top six after failing to win their opening seven matches.

West Bromwich Albion's last-gasp bid to snatch a play-off spot ended in disappointment after Swansea City twice came from behind to snatch a sensational 3-2 win on the final day of the Championship season.

Sheffield United ended their promotion-winning campaign on a high as they defeated Birmingham City 2-0 at St Andrew’s, inflicting a third consecutive Championship loss on John Eustace’s side.
Burnley 3-0 Cardiff
Championship winners Burnley became the first second-tier side since Leicester City in 2013/14 to surpass the 100-point mark, defeating Cardiff City to make the Clarets just the fourth side in Championship history to hit the milestone.
Huddersfield 2-0 Reading
Huddersfield Town provided a fitting farewell for temporary manager Neil Warnock, as a 2-0 success over relegated Reading at the John Smith’s Stadium saw the Terriers secure a third consecutive Championship victory.

Goals from Imran Louza and and Keinan Davis were enough for Watford to avoid recording their lowest Championship finish in six second flight seasons as the Hornets recorded a 2-0 victory over Stoke City.

Wigan Athletic avoided defeat on the final day of the season for the seventh time in the last eight years, but it proved to be scant consolation as the already-relegated Latics played out a goalless Championship draw with Rotherham United at the DW Stadium.
