League leaders Coventry were thrashed 3-0 by promotion-chasing Ipswich, while Middlesbrough continued their strong start to life under Kim Hellberg with a 4-1 win over Hull.
Elsewhere, Blackburn had a match abandoned for the second time this season due to rain and Charlton's clash with Portsmouth was called off after a supporter tragically passed away at the match.
Here, Flashscore rounds up all the latest action from the Championship

Charlton pay tribute to Norman Barker
Charlton faced Portsmouth on Saturday afternoon, although the game was halted and eventually abandoned after 12 minutes due to a medical emergency in the crowd.
Norman Barker, also known as 'Headphones Norm' among some supporters, fell ill in his seat and, despite the best efforts of those at the stadium and medical first responders, sadly passed away after being taken to the hospital.
Tributes have poured in for Norm, who was a recognisable face around The Valley and will be missed by many.
"Charlton Athletic are devastated by the loss of one of its most loyal and recognisable faces, Norman Barker," the club said in a statement.
"Norman was a constant at every game up and down the country for 40 years, always supporting the Addicks through good times and bad with a smile on his face.
"His dedication to the club was recognised earlier this year as he was presented with the Colin Cameron Supporter of the Year award.
"Norman will be truly missed by all at Charlton Athletic and everyone at the club sends their heartfelt condolences to his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time."
Charlton have confirmed that they will honour Norman's life ahead of their clash with Middlesbrough on Tuesday, December 9th.
Blackburn's match with Wednesday abandoned
For the second time this season, Blackburn had a home match abandoned midway through the afternoon due to heavy rainfall.
Rovers were 1-0 up against 10-man Ipswich earlier in the campaign before rain left the pitch unplayable - and the same happened last weekend with Sheffield Wednesday.
Once again, Blackburn were in the lead after Yuki Ohashi's first-half strike, but the match was called off after 15 minutes of delays due to heavy rain.
The EFL regulations suggest a range of options are available to the two clubs, but it seems most likely that the match will be replayed in full at a later date.
That was the outcome for Rovers' clash with Ipswich, which was replayed just last week and ended in a 1-1 draw after Sindre Walle Egeli's late equaliser for the Tractor Boys.
Ipswich secure shock win over Coventry
Speaking of Ipswich, they got back to winning ways with an emphatic 3-0 win over league leaders Coventry on Saturday afternoon.
Egeli got on the scoresheet once again alongside fellow attacking stars George Hirst and Ivan Azon.
The result came as a shock for the Sky Blues, who had lost just once in the Championship this term before kick-off on Saturday.
Frank Lampard's side remain comfortably top of the table with a seven-point lead but will need to bounce back quickly to avoid being dragged back towards the promotion battle.
The dynamic is looking a tad more exciting after Middlesbrough's 4-1 thrashing of Hull on Friday evening, cutting the gap to Coventry in the process.
New manager Hellberg seems to have hit the ground running in England and oversaw a flurry of first-half goals at the MKM Stadium.
David Strelec, Alex Gilbert, Morgan Whittaker and Riley McGree all got on the scoresheet for Boro in what ended up being a very convincing display of their promotion credentials.
Joe Gelhardt grabbed a consolation for Hull, who remain two points outside the play-off places.
Tymon scores a stunner
Josh Tymon netted a Goal of the Season contender in Swansea's 2-0 win over Oxford, firing into the top corner with a first-time volley from outside the penalty area.
The defender's strike stood out on a weekend of superb goals that included fine finishes from Birmingham's Demarai Gray and Sheffield United's Femi Seriki.
However, Tymon's exceptional technique and accuracy earn our Goal of the Week.
McGuinness excels for Sheffield United
Mark McGuinness played a starring role in Sheffield United's 4-0 win over Stoke, getting on the scoresheet and contributing to a fourth clean sheet in the last five games.
The defender earned a 9.2 Flashscore player rating, the highest of any in the Championship across the weekend.
