Elsewhere, Birmingham's poor run of form got worse with a 1-0 defeat to Bristol City, Sheffield United squandered a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 against Preston and Ipswich got back on track with a late 1-0 win over West Brom.
Here, Flashscore takes a look at all the major talking points from the latest Championship action.

Southampton in worrying decline
Southampton suffered one of the worst seasons in Premier League history last term and underwent major changes over the summer, including nine new players and a new manager in Will Still.
Things haven't quite panned out as planned so far in the Championship despite a near £50 million spend and the Saints have won just two league games.
Their latest encounter saw them fall to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Blackburn, even after taking the lead through Leo Scienza.
Late goals from Ryan Alebiosu and Andri Gudjohnsen sealed a comeback win for Rovers and piled on more misery for Southampton - with a 94th-minute red card for Welington capping off another disastrous afternoon for Still's side.
The result leaves the Saints 20th in the table and just three points above the relegation zone after 12 games, without a win in over a month.

The major issues for Southampton have been their leaky defence - having kept just two clean sheets so far - and a misfiring attack.
Despite boasting top Championship talent in Adam Armstrong, Ross Stewart and Cameron Archer, as well as excellent creative outlets like Tom Fellows and Finn Azaz, things haven't quite clicked going forward.
Stewart seemed to be the answer to their problems with a brace against Sheffield United, but the striker quickly picked up another serious injury and will be ruled out until at least the new year.
Aside from Stewart, only Armstrong (four) and left-back Ryan Manning (two) have netted more than once in the league this season, and only Ryan Fraser (two) has provided more than one assist.
Things need to click going forward as soon as possible for the Saints, or they risk missing out on an immediate return to the Premier League.
A new beginning for Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday are finally rid of former owner Dejphon Chansiri after the club was placed into administration late last week.
The Thai businessman had been in charge of the club for over a decade and oversaw both relegation and promotion during his tenure - with the Owls also placed under several different embargoes for reasons ranging from failing to pay tax bills to breaching EFL regulations.
Summer 2025 saw multiple months of players and staff being paid late, as well as protests and boycotts from fans that stretched into the autumn months of the campaign.
Wednesday were placed into administration on Friday, October 24th, to effectively end Chansiri's reign as owner.
With that comes an unfortunate 12-point deduction, although it could be argued that's a necessary evil for the long-term future of the club, with several buyers reportedly lined up with offers.
Saturday marked a new beginning for the Owls, who hosted Oxford at Hillsborough.
The match ended in a 2-1 defeat, and the club is now 16 points from safety, but Wednesday can finally move forward after so many years of uncertainty.
Preston comeback against Sheffield United
Wednesday's neighbours, Sheffield United, have had a rough start to their own season and also sit in the relegation zone.
The Blades rehired Chris Wilder in a bid to correct an awful start to the campaign and have improved in recent weeks under the fan favourite, but their form took a big hit with a 3-2 loss to Preston on Friday night.
United found themselves 2-0 up after just 16 minutes following goals from Andre Brooks and Callum O'Hare - only to concede three across 10 minutes either side of half-time.
Lewis Dobbin got one back in the fourth minute of first-half injury time before a Japhet Tanganga own goal just one minute into the second half was followed by Daniel Jebbison's eventual winner in the 58th minute.
The Blades will be furious at letting a seemingly solid two-goal lead slip, condemning them to their ninth Championship defeat of the season in the process.
Preston, however, showed real character to complete the comeback and now sit seventh in the table - outside the play-offs on goal difference.
North End had been tipped by many for relegation before a ball was kicked, but their strong start to the campaign has provided a platform to mount a top-six push in the coming months.
Vipotnik on form for Swansea
Swansea striker Zan Vipotnik netted twice in his side's 2-1 win against Norwich, taking his overall tally to six for the season.
One of his strikes particularly stood out, breaking through the middle of the pitch and firing a powerful effort into the bottom corner to take our Goal of the Week - although his first wasn't bad either.
Atkinson excels for Bristol City
Rob Atkinson earned a 9.2 Flashscore player rating for his performance in Bristol City's 1-0 win over Birmingham, the highest of any player over the weekend.
The defender assisted the Robins' only goal while also making 11 clearances, two interceptions and winning five duels.
Atkinson's rating makes him our Player of the Week - see a full Team of the Week below:
