Coventry remain the only side still unbeaten after their wins over Blackburn and Portsmouth while Middlesbrough grinded out victories against Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday.
Elsewhere, Millwall are up to third after beating QPR and Stoke but relegation-threatened Norwich slipped into the bottom three after back-to-back losses.
Here, Flashscore takes a look at all the major talking points from the latest Championship action:

Coventry's unbeaten run goes on
Coventry have had a remarkable start to the Championship season and currently sit top of the league having not lost a single game.
Their win at the weekend came against a struggling Blackburn Rovers, with Victor Torp and Brandon Thomas-Asante netting within two minutes of each other to seal a 2-0 triumph.
Thomas-Asante was on target again during the week, bagging both goals in a 2-1 win over Portsmouth.
One of the main contributors to the Sky Blues' success so far has been the incredible form of their attackers - with Coventry boasting the division's top scorers in Haji Wright and Thomas-Asante, while Torp follows closely behind in joint-second.
An underrated aspect of Frank Lampard's side, though, is their brilliant defensive record.
Coventry kept five consecutive clean sheets before the Portsmouth clash and have finally fielded a consistent defensive unit - a common issue in past seasons where they constantly changed their defence and goalkeeper.
Carl Rushworth, Milan van Ewijk, Bobby Thomas, Liam Kitching and Jay Dasilva have all started every league game this season to provide a bit of much-needed stability at the back, something that has no doubt had a huge contribution to their exceptional form.
Couple that with plenty of quality players at the top end of the pitch and the Sky Blues have a fantastic blueprint for promotion.
Millwall make play-off push
Millwall moved into third after beating London rivals QPR on Saturday and Stoke in midweek, showing promising signs of mounting a play-off challenge.
Both Femi Azeez and Mihailo Ivanovic were on target for the Lions over their last two games, with the latter grabbing his first of the season at the weekend.
Ivanovic enjoyed an exceptional breakthrough campaign last season but has started slowly this time around - although getting off the mark could hopefully spur the 20-year-old Serbian back into goalscoring form.
Goals in general have been a slight issue for Millwall, or rather, finding a consistent goalscorer.
Just two players have scored more than once for the Lions so far this season with the share largely spread throughout the team.
While multiple players chipping in is not a problem at all, Millwall do need to find a regular source of goals if they are to make a sustained push for the play-offs.
Ivanovic could be the answer to that problem, providing the youngster can get back to his scintillating form from last term.
Derby grind out important win over Norwich
Norwich and Derby are on a worrying downward trajectory following poor starts to their respective campaigns, and met on Tuesday evening in a clash of two relegation-threatened clubs.
Both sides had won just once in their last seven games and neither club had picked up any wins in their previous five fixtures before they faced off at Pride Park.
It was Derby who just about came out on top with a 1-0 victory to send the Canaries down into the relegation zone after David Ozoh netted the only goal of the match.

It was a disastrous evening for Norwich, who had 66 per cent possession and 17 shots but failed to penetrate the home side's defence.
Things are looking bleak for manager Liam Manning, who has lost his last four games and hasn't won since August.
Derby, though, have given themselves a platform to build from after securing a much-needed three points - and can start looking up the table rather than down if any momentum can be built in the coming weeks.
Johnston strikes for West Brom
West Brom winger Mikey Johnston netted a fantastic goal in their 2-1 win against Preston on Saturday.
The Irishman drove inside from the winger before curling a brilliant effort into the top corner, around 25 yards out from goal.
Johnston's strike stood out across the Championship fixtures - winning our Goal of the Week.
Twine the difference maker for Bristol City
Scott Twine netted twice in Bristol City's 3-1 win over Southampton, earning a 9.0 Flashscore player rating.
That was the highest of any player over the last two sets of fixtures, making Twine our Player of the Week!
