The former West Ham striker is training with the Championship club after coming off contract in the summer.
Having recovered from a major car accident, where he suffered a serious leg fracture, Antonio has fully recovered and played competitive football for Jamaica this season.
Asked if the Foxes could sign Antonio, Cifuentes said on Friday: “He’s a player who’s got big experience in the Premier League.
“He’s training with us at the moment and we’re having a look.
“He’s a good football player. He comes from a period without a team, but he’s been training only a couple of days with us and he’s been looking good. He's a good lad to have around as well.”
Asked if Antonio was showing any issues from the car accident, Cifuentes added: “Not at all. He’s looking good in that sense.
"It would take some time (for match fitness) because he has been away for a long period.
“It’s never easy. It doesn’t matter how hard you train, the level in games is different. But he’s looking good.
“It’s something we’re discussing. We’re having a look and he’s happy to train with us. We'll see.”
