Barcelona face an almost impossible task in overturning the 4-0 deficit from the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals. Even their formidable home record and Atlético Madrid’s struggles on the road this season don’t seem enough to make up a four-goal gap.

As they have done against every Spanish opponent at home this season, we expect Barcelona to come out on top in this match.
Atlético, who have struggled away from home this campaign, will most likely focus on protecting their lead, so it’s very possible Barça will win the game without really threatening Simeone’s overall plan, which is to maintain the overall lead, rather than chase the win.
Atlético already lost 3-1 to Barcelona in the league, so a similar outcome seems likely against Flick’s side, who have no choice but to go all out.
