23:21 BST - Our feature writer, Jason Pettigrove, has put together a lovely piece of writing on 'the story' of how Tottenham beat Manchester United tonight to win the Europa League title.
If you fancy an alternative breakdown of tonight's action in Bilbao, you can read it here.
That'll about wrap things up for us. Goodnight!
23:00 BST - And here we go, some post-match reaction from Ange Postecolglou:
"I’m still taking it all in," he told TNT Sports. "I know what it means for this football club. The longer it goes, the harder it is to break that cycle.
"I could sense the nerves in everyone at the club and until you take that monkey off your back you never understand what it feels like. We have a young group and I hope by tasting this, the players feel different about themselves and what it means to them is unbelievable.
“I’ve always felt knockout football is different to league football and when you’re in that situation it comes down to good organisation, having a real gameplan and moments and you can minimise moments by having a strong foundation.
“I felt we were going to be really hard to break down. We could’ve been better in transitions but I felt comfortable that if we got ahead we could deal with most of what Manchester United would throw at us."
22:45 BST - Not that it was the greatest European game there ever was, but here are the highlights from Tottenham's win - including Van de Ven's incredible goal-line clearance.
22:42 BST - The admins are enjoying themselves out in Bilbao.
22:28 BST - Here's the moment when Spurs got their hands on the trophy.
22:22 BST - There were many heroes for Spurs tonight, but Brennan Johnson stands tallest as he was the man to provide the winning goal.
"I'm so happy right now," he told TNT Sports. "This season has not been good at all, not one of us players care about that now. This team has not won a trophy for 17 years, it means so much.
"All the fans get battered, we get battered for not winning a trophy. We had to get the first one, I'm so happy. Ever since I came here it has been 'Tottenham, good team but can't get it done', but we got it done.
"(In the last five minutes) I couldn't watch. I was just asking 'how long left?' When we defended that corner, I was getting told it was done and the relief is something I can't describe."
22:15 BST - In his post-match interview, Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario said Spurs have nothing left to do but enjoy tonight's trophy-winning festivities.
"It's unbelievable. We have written history in the real sense of the term," he told TNT Sports.
"Micky van de Ven's save on the line was brilliant, but we knew before the game that we needed effort from everyone.
"We delivered and now we have to celebrate."
22:12 BST - Tottenham will be playing Champions League football next season while Manchester United won't have any European football at all. There will be a lot of soul searching being done in Manchester, while in London, that league position feels a lot less important right now.
22:08 BST - Ange Postecoglou delivers on his second-season promise. Will we see a recreation of Carlo Ancelotti's cigar celebrations with Real Madrid?
22:06 BST - There will be celebrations through the night!
22:04 BST - Incredibly, Spurs attempted three shots in that game, their lowest total in a single match in the Europa League this season. But they got the goal that counted and are champions tonight.
21:59 BST - FULL-TIME! That's the final whistle in Bilbao and Tottenham are the Europa League champions!

21:58 BST - Everyone is up in the box for a Man Utd corner and Casimero sends a shot into the side netting which has everyone's hearts in their mouths.
21:56 BST - WOW! A match-winning save from Vicario who saves a strong header from Shaw that flashes across him. Unbelievable!
21:54 BST - Tottenham defend well as wave after wave of attack from Man Utd but they hold firm. Yoro finally takes a shot from distance but it sails harmlessly over everyone.
21:50 BST - There will be 7 minutes of added time.
21:49 BST - The game is getting a bit testy now as emotions boil over. An expected result from playing against someone from your own league in a European final.
21:40 BST - Ten of the original 90 minutes remain and Tottenham have all 11 players camped in their own half.
21:34 BST - Garnacho fires in a shot that forces an outstretched save from the keeper. Things are starting to get a bit more exciting out there. Can Spurs hold onto their lead in the final 15 minutes?
21:32 BST - CHANCE! Fernandes has a clear header in front of goal, with no defenders anywhere near him, but sends it wide. That was a real opportunity for the Man Utd man.
21:31 BST - Son Heung-min has taken the pitch and is now playing his 68th European game - a record for Spurs, and he overtakes Harry Kane.
21:28 BST - CHANCE! Wow, what a clearance from Van de Ven! Hojlund sends in a header that is dipping towards goal when the defender intervenes with a leaping kick. His keeper had gone out in a failed attempt at a clearance a few seconds earlier, so that really was important from Van de Ven as there was nobody else to help his team if he'd mistimed it.
21:18 BST - CLOSE! Man Utd's closest chance in a while. Fernandes puts a free-kick goalward and Yoro gets a slight touch on it, but Vicario intervenes right in front of goal to stop the threat.
21:15 BST - Man Utd fans won't want to hear this but this is the 31st time that Man Utd have conceded first in a game this season; the most by any Premier League team across all competitions (Leicester on 30).
21:05 BST - The second half is underway in Bilbao.
20:55 BST - Is Ange Postecoglou 45 minutes away from delivering on his second-season promise?
20:49 BST - There's the whistle to signify that we are halfway through this Europa League final, with Tottenham 1-0 up against Manchester United thanks to Johnson's late goal.

20:46 BST - Something has to give tonight...
Tottenham have a record of W9, D1, L0 when scoring the opening goal in the 2024/2025 UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United have a record of W3, D1, L0 when conceding the opening goal in the 2024/2025 UEFA Europa League.
20:43 BST - GOAL! Tottenham have the lead! Johnson the man to put them ahead when he times his run well to meet a cross. In the end, it's really an ugly goal as the ball bobbles between Shaw and Johnson, but the ball ends up in the back of the net, and that's all that Spurs will care about right now.
20:34 BST - Amad has been the most enterprising player on the pitch so far, and he beats his man again before firing an errant cross well over the heads of everyone. Not a great finish but he's certainly making a nuisance of himself out there.
20:32 BST - Romero is down in the six yard box and receiving some attention. He took an accidental shot from a stray elbow but it doesn't look too serious.
20:27 BST - As we reach the half-hour mark, we can only hope that the next hour is slightly more exciting. Still quite nervy out there.
20:19 BST - Amad has just flashed a shot across goal that came very close to being the opener. Though it was wide, he would have perhaps hoped to see a team-mate on the far post to take advantage once the keeper had been beaten.
20:14 BST - A fairly cagey start to the game as one would imagine, but it's the defensive units on both ends of the pitch that look the furthest from settling the nerves in this game. Does that mean we will get some goals?
20:01 BST - With the blow of the referee's whistle, the Europa League final is underway!
19:56 BST - Here we go, then, the teams are heading out! A wall of noise greets them in Bilbao.
19:53 BST - Rio Ferdinand in commentary is trying to manifest the kind of game that everyone wants to see tonight: "I want mayhem, I want goals, I want jeopardy."
19:50 BST - Tottenham fans are full of love for the manager at the moment!
19:41 BST - Manchester United fans will be pleased to know that they are the only side still unbeaten across the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League this season (P14 W9 D5).
19:31 BST - Here's one for you, Spurs fans! Tonight is Ange Postecoglou's 100th game in charge.
He's the first manager to take charge of his 100th game with an English club in a major final since George Ramsay with Aston Villa in the 1892 FA Cup final.
19:24 BST - Some famous faces here to watch the action unfold!
19:12 BST - Sir Alex Ferguson has arrived. I wonder what he makes of United's season so far...

19:01 BST - Here's how it will all look at kick-off in about an hour:

18:49 BST - Team news is in! Here's who will start for Man Utd and Tottenham this evening...
Tottenham: Vicario, Porro, Van de Ven, Romero, Udogie, Bentancur, Bissouma, Sarr, Johnson, Solanke, Richarlison
Manchester United: Onana, Yoro, Maguire, Shaw, Mazraoui, Dorgu, Casemiro, Fernandes, Hojlund, Mount, Amad
18:41 BST - Not everyone is clear on who they want to win tonight...
18:23 BST - We'll have team news for you in around half an hour - will there be any surprises from either manager?
17:50 BST - If you need a recap of how Spurs and Man Utd punched their ticket to Bilbao, here's a little reminder.

17:30 BST - We have two hours and 30 minutes to go until kick-off at the Estadio de San Mamés. Feeling nervous Man Utd and Spurs fans?
17:12 BST - Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville has said his former club do not deserve a parade even if they beat Spurs tonight.
"If Manchester United win, they'll celebrate a trophy but there will be a cautious celebration tomorrow (Thursday) - not by the fans, though, because they'll obviously go crazy," he told the Stick to Football podcast.
"Their interviews will be along the lines of them saying that they're so happy and delighted for the fans, but it’s been a difficult season.
"That will be the tone of it. I don’t think there should be a parade through the city for them winning the Europa League."
16:29 BST - The stadium is looking pristine, which is good of Athletic Bilbao since their chance of playing a Europa League final at home was ended by the very team now posting in their stadium.
16:01 BST - Gus Poyet spent three seasons with Tottenham as a player before serving as Juande Ramos' assistant, and while the former midfielder from Uruguay now coaches Jeonbuk in Korea, he still follows his former side closely.
In a exclusive interview with Flashscore, he spoke with Stanimir Sapunarov and Taško Kostadinovski about all things Spurs ahead of tonight's game.
"Yes, if you think about the team, they’ve got Bentancur, Son, Maddison, an incredible group of people, the problem is that they never get to play at full strength," Poyet said. "So, in the Premier League it was a disaster of a season.
"But they are in the final. And knowing the Spurs fans if they win, they will forget about the Premier League, they won’t care if they’re 17th.
"But if they lose though, it will be impossible for Ange Postecoglou to continue. I hate to say it, because I want the coach to stay long and to work as long as he knows, but I know Daniel Levy very well, I know the Spurs fans, so it will be difficult to accept. But he has a great opportunity tonight."

12:35 BST - Good afternoon and welcome to our build-up for the Europa League final between Tottenham and Manchester United. It is the sixth time in history that two English teams have contested a European final, with Tottenham facing Wolves in the Europa Cup final in 1971-72 - Spurs won that one 3-2 on aggregate over two legs.
Manchester United then played Chelsea in the 2007-08 Champions League final, with Man Utd coming out on top on penalties after the game finished 1-1.
Chelsea were back in a final in 2018-19 in Baku, where they beat Arsenal 4-1 in the Europa League showpiece. Tottenham took on Liverpool in the Champions League final in the same season, with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool coming out on top of that one.
Which brings us today, where we will bring you all the features, predictions and social media excitement as we build up to what promises to be a thrilling all-Premier League affair in Bilbao this evening.
