"But the reality is we are out and the only thing that's going to be judged is that but internally I can't.
"I love my players. I love our team and I love how good they are and what they do because in 1000 games, you should lose one and probably it was this one.
"When you go to penalties you know that it's a flick of the coin and it can go either way."

"I think the Arsenal team felt that maybe today is not their day. I'm really pleased for the way they controlled the game without the ball.
"We defended very well, set pieces we were really strong. It was a good day but now I'm thinking about the next game and worried about the next game.
"We were facing a great team and it was not just 90 minutes, it was more than that and then you feel like the players are really tired. They put in new players, they controlled the ball all the time, it was a sacrifice for my players.
"But we deserved to pass through this round because we suffered all together and we showed character and that's a very important thing."
18:43 GMT - Altay Bayindir may not have been willing to talk up his contribution, but Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes said Bayindir was fully deserving of the praise coming his way after saving a penalty in the second half and then another to win the shoot-out.

"If you are not playing it doesn't matter. You have to be ready every minute, every second, if you are a Man Utd player you have to be ready always."
The Turkish goalkeeper paid tribute to Ruben Amorim for the faith he shows in the players.
"He is talking with us everyday and he wants to help us," he said. "We love him and he's always trying to do his best. He has a very good relationship with the players and we are trusting him, he is trusting us. We are fighting together."
