Porto v Al Ahly, Tuesday, 02:00 BST

What a game we have in store on the final day of play from a competitive Group A. With two rounds in the back, Palmeiras and Inter Miami are level on four points, with the Brazilians holding a slight advantage on goal difference. The top two in the pool face off in Miami, while third plays fourth in East Rutherford.
Porto and Al Ahly need a winner in the other match, opening the door for one team to stage a smash-and-grab on the prize places. Both clubs have drawn one match and lost the other, but Porto scored in a 2-1 defeat to Miami on Thursday. Back the experienced Portuguese side to defeat an Egyptian champion that looks far from their best.
Tip: Porto to win @ 7/10 (bet365)
Bet explanation: You need Porto to beat Al Ahly, and the winning margin isn't important.
Seattle Sounders v PSG, Monday, 20:00 BST

UEFA Champions League 2025 winners PSG demolished Atletico Madrid 4-0 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on matchday one, but the French team need to beat MLS side the Seattle Sounders on Monday evening at Lumen Field, Seattle.
The Parisians followed that impressive win over Madrid with a shock 1-0 defeat to Brazilian side Botafogo on Friday. PSG enter round three placed second in Group B behind their weekend conquerors. Lose and they could be out, but the locals have played two and lost two, scoring two goals and conceding five. I expect a big finish from PSG.
Tip: PSG -2 handicap @ 11/10 (bet365)
Bet explanation: We need PSG to beat Seattle by at least three clear goals.
Atletico Madrid v Botafogo, Monday, 20:00 BST

Unlike previous games from the Club World Cup 2025 group phase, both matches from Group A kick off at the same time, ensuring there's no advantage and limiting meaningless games. Atletico Madrid start in third with three points on the board, and now meet top of the pile, Botafogo. To progress, Madrid must win this match; there's no margin for error.
Madrid hammered the Seattle Sounders 3-1 last time out to remain in the hunt, but they must finish the job. Botafogo have played two and won two, ensuring they progress to the next round. I now expect to see the Brazilians rest a few of their regular starters, improving the chances of back-to-back wins for Madrid. I'm trusting Atletico to turn up the heat with a hard-fought win against an opponent that's playing the long game.
Tip: Both score and Atletico Madrid win @ 13/5 (bet365)
Bet explanation: You want to see Madrid win the match, but concede at least once.
Benfica v Bayern Munich, Tuesday, 20:00 BST

Moving into Group C where two important names from European football go head-to-head. Both Benfica and Bayern Munich were picked to occupy the top two places in the division, and they're in a great position with one game remaining. But which team will win and boost team morale ahead of bigger challenges? I strongly support the Germans.
The stats attached to this fixture makes for interesting reading, with Benfica failing to beat Bayern Munich in 11 previous attempts. FCB enter on eight wins and three draws, including a 1-0 home win late last year. Munich have kept a clean sheet in six of those 11 games, and more of the same appeals.
Tip: Bayern Munich win to nil @ 9/4 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Bayern Munich must win and stop Benfica from scoring.
ES Tunis v Chelsea, Wednesday, 02:00 GMT

Chelsea fans in the UK will be up burning the midnight oil hoping to see the Blues score a vital three points when meeting Tunisian side ES Tunis in Philadelphia. The Londoners were the pre-tournament favourites to qualify from the group, and a win would help them achieve that in style. But they'll be pushed hard by a determined opponent.
Flamengo beat ES Tunis 2-0 on the opening night, and things will get even more miserable for their fans in midweek. Chelsea have the big-match experience, drive, and won the 2021 Club World Cup. If they are anywhere near their best, I see the Brits scoring a simple win against an opponent they really should beating with a bit in hand. They'll get the result, and keep their opponents from scoring.
Tip: Under 2.5 goals @ 6/4 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If the match produces two goals or fewer, you'll get a handy profit.
Borussia Dortmund v Ulsan HD, Wednesday, 20:00 BST

Moving to the final match from Group F, when Borussia Dortmund face Ulsan HD at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati. Neither side managed to score an opening day win, meaning both know victory is the only option here. Dortmund are the pre-match betting favourites, priced like losing isn't an option. We've witnessed some strange results in the US already this month, but I'm picking the Bundesliga side to get the job done in good fashion.
Most football fans expected Dortmund to progress from Group F without encountering too much resistance. The only suitable way to end their three-match group campaign is with a dominant win, and I expect them to do just that. Back Dortmund on the handicap.
Tip: Borussia Dortmund -1 handicap @ 8/15 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Dortmund must win by two or more clear goals to land your wager.
Inter Milan v River Plate, Thursday, 02:00 BST

Inter Milan were humbled by PSG in the Champions League final last month, losing 5-0 before a global audience. The Italians have since changed their manager, with Cristian Chivu taking charge. The Serie A side looked disjointed and low on ideas in their opening match against Monterrey, when fighting back from a goal down to rescue a point. I expect things to get worse before they improve for Milan fans.
River Plate smashed Japanese J-League side Urawa Red Diamonds in Lumen Field, Seattle on matchday one. They face a much tougher opponent on Thursday, but I expect them to hold on for a draw and another eye-catching result from a potential champion. I've not seen enough yet from Milan that suggests they are over that mauling in Germany, so will take River Plate with a goal start on the handicap.
Tip: River Plate +1 handicap @ 23/20 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If River Plate draws or wins the game, you win your bet.
Juventus v Man City, Thursday, 20:00 BST

Pick of the fixtures from matchday three comes from the Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Thursday evening as Italy's Juventus play England's Manchester City. These teams are no strangers to meeting on the big stage, and Thursday's clash will be the eighth clash in competitive action. Interestingly, Juventus have dominated over the years.
Man City famously beat Juventus in the first meeting of these giants, claiming a 1-0 at the 1976 UEFA Cup. But that remains their only success. The stats show Juve have four wins and two draws against City, winning the previous game 2-0 late last year in the Champions League. With both clubs struggling for consistency, I'm happy to follow the numbers.
Tip: Juventus win @ 3/1 (bet365)
Bet explanation: You need Juventus to beat Man City by any scoreline.
Al-Hilal v Pachuca, Friday, 02:00 BST

Matchday three in Group H pairs Saudi Pro League runners-up Al-Hilal with Liga MX team Pachuca at Geodis Park in Nashville. Both teams impressed in their opening games, without either taking all three points. Al-Hilal survived a late scare to draw with the competition's most successful team, Real Madrid. Pachuca lost by the odd goal in three against RB Salzburg.
Results so far mean Friday is a must-win for Al-Hilal v Pachuca, but I expect the rivals to cancel each other out. The sides look evenly matched on paper and playing under such pressure won't aid their cause much either. Sit on the fence and back a draw.
Bet explanation: The match must end in a draw for your bet to win.
RB Salzburg v Real Madrid, Friday, 02:00 BST

Real Madrid have dominated the Club World Cup in recent years. Blancos haven't had things all their own way so far and missed a late penalty to beat Al-Hilal on matchday one. They're still warming into this challenge, and the best teams usually don't hit their stride until the knockout phases, but Madrid must ensure they're still in the running.
The stats show RB Salzburg and Real Madrid have met only once before in competitive action, with that game played as recently as January 2025 in the revamped Champions League. Madrid won the clash with a 5-1 scoreline, thanks to doubles for Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, with Mbappe getting the spare. I don't expect the winning margin to be quite as wide this time, but I am backing Madrid on the handicap.
Tip: Real Madrid -1 handicap @ 4/6 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Real Madrid must beat RB Salzburg by two or more goals.
