22:47 BST - That's a wrap for us tonight. Thank you for joining!

22:46 BST - Chelsea will face either PSG or Real Madrid in the final on Sunday, July 13th.

They're playing each other tomorrow night from 20:00 BST.

22:30 BST - New signing Joao Pedro seems to have settled in well at Chelsea.

"I think it was a dream, I don't think it could have been better," Pedro told DAZN

"Two goals. Now we need to think about the final. I am very happy to score two goals today.

"I am happy to score my first goal for Chelsea but also I know this tournament is very important for Fluminense. I can just say sorry but I have to be professional. I play for Chelsea. They pay me to score goals and today I was happy to score."

22:20 BST - Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca was beaming with pride after reaching the final.

"It's a great achievement," he told DAZN.

"It's been a fantastic season, with a top-four finish in the league, the Conference League, and now this final.

"We know our players can do this. I'm very happy, to be honest. I know how difficult it is.

"We go game by game. Now it's finally the last game of the season, and hopefully we can win the tournament.

"They (Real and PSG) are both top teams, but we are proud and happy to be there."

22:06 BST - We'll have some reaction from Chelsea's win as soon as we get it.

22:01 BST - We're still going and Fluminense are looking for a consolation - including a good bicycle kick effort - but to no avail.

Caicedo seems to have taken a knock, which will be a worry for Enzo Maresca.

21:55 BST - Six minutes of added time.

21:29 BST - Chelsea look very much good for a third but veteran Thiago Silva is doing his best to keep the score at just two.

21:24 BST - There's no hat-trick for Joao Pedro as Nicolas Jackson replaces him.

21:20 BST - GOAL! Pedro gets his second of the match!

Chelsea break fast after some sustained pressure from Fluminense and have a four-on-three, but the former Brighton man decides to simply cut in and rifle one in off the bar. A thunderous effort and it's 2-0 to the Blues.

21:17 BST - Cucurella goes close with a long-range shot, but it just goes wide of the post.

Chelsea have started the strongest again in the early stages of this second half.

21:09 BST - The second half is up and running.

20:47 BST - We're having five minutes of added time in the first half.

20:39 BST - NO PENALTY! "Arm in a natural position", the ref announces, and that looks the right call. As you were.

20:37 BST - PENALTY! The ball clatters Trevor Chalobah's hand in the box, and the referee awards a penalty to Fluminense.

But VAR has told him to take a look at the monitor...

20:27 BST - CLOSE! Fluminense go close after some excellent build-up play, German Cano looks to slide it in, only for Marc Cucurella to clear the ball off the line.

The Brazilians are finding their way into this game.

20:20 BST - GOAL! Chelsea take the lead after a fine curling finish from outside the box by £60 million man Joao Pedro. It's 1-0 to the Premier League side.

20:14 BST - It's all Chelsea in the opening stages of this match, with the Brazilian side barely able to get out of their half.

A few spicy challenges in the opening 10 minutes, too!

20:01 BST - We're ready to rumble! We're up and running at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

19:47 BST - Legendary boxing announcer Michael Buffer is going to be announcing the players as they walk out tonight.

18:40 BST - It's not just Thiago Silva who will be facing his former employers tonight.

Chelsea's new boy Joao Pedro could be lining up against his boyhood club should he get the nod.

18:02 BST - Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca shrugged off concerns about playing in hot and humid mid-afternoon conditions in tonight's Club World Cup semi-final against Brazilian side Fluminense, for which the Blues will be without both Liam Delap and Levi Colwill.

"I don't think it's just tomorrow's game. Like other teams we have already played in different conditions but the game is tomorrow at 3pm and so all we can do is adapt and try to win," Maresca told reporters on Monday.

17:02 BST - This is the first meeting between these sides, but Fluminense previously lost the CWC final against Manchester City in 2023.

That being said, they are in scintillating form right now, having gone undefeated in their previous 11 outings.

16:57 BST - Tonight's fixture will also be a reunion for experienced centre back Thiago Silva and his former employers.

Will the Brazil legend haunt his former club?

16:50 BST - Welcome back to the Football Tracker!

Chelsea are in action against Fluminense in the first Club World Cup semi-final, their third game against Brazilian opponents at this tournament, with both prior games seeing goals at both ends (W1, L1).
