The Catalan giants brushed Real Madrid aside 2-0 at Camp Nou to wrap up the 2025/26 Spanish title, inflicting more misery on their arch-rivals, who have endured a torrid few weeks, on and off the pitch.
It's the first time in their long history that Barcelona have mathematically clinched the title with a win in the Clasico.
This season, Hansi Flick’s swashbuckling side have amassed an impressive 91 points from their 35 LaLiga matches, registering 30 wins and scoring a league-high 91 goals in the process. Tellingly, they have mustered 21 more goals than second-placed Real Madrid to date.

After a brilliant debut campaign in charge in 2024/25, which saw him claim a domestic treble, Flick's proactive, high-risk tactical approach has once again proved hugely successful this season, with Barca retaining the top-flight title for the first time since 2019.
Highlights of the league campaign have included doubles over Atletico Madrid and city rivals Espanyol, as well as heavy victories against Real Betis, Athletic Club and Valencia.
A truly team effort
Goals have been spread evenly throughout the team, with Lamine Yamal (16), Ferran Torres (16), Robert Lewandowski (13) and Raphinha (11) all reaching double digits for the Blaugrana in LaLiga.
Meanwhile, Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford has also contributed with eight goals, alongside Dani Olmo (7) and Fermin Lopez (6).
At the back, Flick's men have conceded less than a goal a game on average (31), with the often brilliant Joan Garcia keeping 15 clean sheets, and 19-year-old Pau Cubarsi a virtual ever-present and impressive in defence.
Barca's victory over Madrid gave them an 11th consecutive LaLiga win.
Only four other coaches in the club's history have achieved that feat: Pep Guardiola (a run of 16 and another of 11), Frank Rijkaard (14), Luis Enrique (12) and Tito Vilanova (11).
That run alone puts Flick in some incredible company, but if we take into account last season's treble and this season's LaLiga title, it's fair to say the German tactician is building a legacy that will long be remembered in Catalonia or beyond.
