La Liga giants Barcelona released a statement on Monday to confirm that their clash against Athletic Bilbao will take place at Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon.

At last, Barcelona are returning to Camp Nou after spending many months at Montjuic and even playing two matches at the smaller Johan Cruyff stadium this season.

The club has officially announced that their clash with Athletic Bilbao will be held this Saturday, November 22nd, at 15:15 GMT in their iconic stadium, with a capacity set at 45,401 spectators.

This follows the "granting of the first occupancy license for Phase 1B". Tickets for the match are on sale starting on Monday.

Additionally, the club stated that it is working to validate Phase 1C to "ensure the reopening of the Gol Nord, meeting all operational, safety, and comfort requirements for members and fans."

Finally, Barcelona hope to receive UEFA approval to host their next home Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt on December 9th.

According to the statement, all prerequisites have been met, and only the final confirmation is pending.
