Barcelona come into this match off the back of a hard-fought but much-needed European win. Now, they need to keep up their winning run at the revamped Spotify Camp Nou to put some distance between themselves and their nearest rivals.

Flick’s side will remain top whatever happens, but they have a perfect record in official matches at their new-look home, a run they’ll be eager to continue this weekend.

What’s more, this fixture is the last big push for the Blaugrana before they turn their attentions to the Copa del Rey tie in Guadalajara, where rotation is expected, resting many top players following a packed schedule of demanding league and Champions League fixtures.

As for Osasuna, last week’s win over Levante gave Lisci some breathing space and allowed the team to approach this week in a slightly more comfortable position. That being said, the threat of the relegation places still hasn’t completely disappeared.

Osasuna have had a patchy start to the season, which is somewhat disappointing after flirting with the Conference League spots last year.

The Rojillos come into this clash as the league’s worst away side, still without a win on the road (D2, L6), so a shock result at the Camp Nou would certainly give their campaign a boost and send a strong message to their direct rivals.

Barça to score before and after the break

Barcelona come into the match in good attacking form, having racked up seven league wins with multiple goals, often scoring in both halves.

It’s a stat they’ve also managed in eight of their last 11 home games against Osasuna, including last season’s corresponding fixture – the only time the Rojillos have visited Barça with Flick in charge – which ended 3-0. With Osasuna struggling away from home, this bet looks appealing.

Tip: Barça to score in both halves – 8/15 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Barça score in both the first and second half.

Sergio Herrera to the rescue

Even on their off days, Barça usually get shots on target. Despite a largely toothless first half from Flick’s men, the Eintracht Frankfurt keeper still made five saves on Tuesday.

In Barça’s recent league games, Álvaro Vallés, Oblak, Sivera and Unai Simón all managed at least three saves each. Sergio Herrera, Osasuna’s keeper, is one of La Liga’s top shot-stoppers, consistently ranking among the leaders for saves per season, always averaging over three saves per game.

Herrera has made more than 3.5 saves in two of the last three matchdays, stopping eight of nine shots at the Metropolitano and four of five at the Bernabéu.

Tip: Sergio Herrera to make over 3.5 saves – 4/6 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Sergio Herrera makes four or more saves during the match.

Barça to be winning at half-time and full-time

An interesting option if you expect the Blaugrana to go all out. Four of their last six home games have seen Flick’s side ahead at both half-time and full-time.

That stat also appears in five of Barcelona’s last seven matches in all competitions, and in three of their last four home league games. Osasuna have also trailed at both half-time and full-time in eight of their last 11 league visits to Barcelona.

Tip: Barça to be winning at half-time and full-time – 8/13 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Sergio Herrera makes four or more saves during the match.

Joan García to make saves too

This might be the least popular prediction, as few will expect Osasuna to pose much of an attacking threat. But there are some interesting stats: Joan García has made two or more saves in four of his six official matches since returning from injury, and Osasuna have managed at least two shots on target in their last eight league games, as well as in six of their last seven away league matches, including at the Metropolitano.

The fact that Osasuna are tied with Alavés as the lowest-scoring away side (three goals) might be misleading, but that lack of finishing could mean Barça’s keeper is called into action more often.

Tip: Joan García to make over 1.5 saves – 8/11 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Joan García makes two or more saves.
