Frenkie de Jong has been injured since the World Cup and looks to still be missing for a few weeks.
Gavi played in the first match against Elche and, despite being expected to join training soon after, he missed the next match against Rayo Vallecano. Luckily enough, Barcelona have a backup in the form of Ballon D’Or winner Rodri, who has only had substitute appearances so far, but could be in line for a start here.
