Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is reportedly 'open' to joining MLS side Chicago Fire once his contract runs out at the end of the season.

The 37-year-old has held "positive talks" with the club over a move Stateside at the end of the season, with Barcelona looking to sign a younger replacement.

According to BBC Sport, Lewandowski is now open to the move, and his high wages aren't expected to be an issue for the MLS side.

Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami were also interested in signing the legendary striker, but it looks like he is favouring a move to Chicago.

Lewandowski has been a huge success since joining Barcelona from Bayern Munich back in 2022, scoring 109 goals in his 164 appearances.
