Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has spoken to the media as he prepares to face Crystal Palace.

United head to Selhurst Park with no clean sheets from their last five games, whilst only one of their last 11 Premier League away games has ended in victory, in what are two shocking stats for Amorim’s side.

United must improve their dire away record

The Red Devils have also lost a whopping 16 of their last 26 league matches at London clubs and meet Palace this weekend, who are one of just two teams yet to concede 10 goals in the league this season.

Amorim was first asked about their poor away record and he revealed what his side needs to do to improve.

“The same things that we need to do to show the players why we lost control at Forest and Spurs.

“Those games were there to win. When we play at home, the intensity is higher, but in this game, it wasn't. It is hard to point at one thing. We have an advantage in the away games.”

“We (United and Palace) play a different way, and you can understand that by the data. It is a different club and they are doing that better than us. We play differently and they are just doing things better than us.

“I play against him (Glasner) at Frankfurt and I take inspiration from everyone. I watch all the managers. I have six years as a manager and I am always trying to learn.”

Team news

The media were keen to know about injuries ahead of the clash and Amorim and revealed that summer signing Benjamin Sesko will not feature this weekend, whilst Matheus Cunha is back in the side.

“Sesko is going to take a little bit more time, (Harry) Maguire again the same. Matheus (Cunha) I expect to have back.

"If you look at the game (Everton) we could play better. We should have won that game; we have to feel that urgency. If we know that, we need to do everything in the right way."
