Dutch forward Donyell Malen is reportedly very close to joining Premier League club Aston Villa.
According to reliable Netherlands-based outlet Voetbal International, the Borussia Dortmund man has reached a personal agreement with Villa.
Malen may leave Dortmund this month in a deal that could cost around £25 million.
The 25-year-old joined the Bundesliga giants in 2021 and has scored 39 times in the yellow jersey.
Villa, who are said to have agreed a multi-year contract with the player, previously offered just £16 million for Malen.
That offer was quickly rejected by Dortmund.
If he does indeed sign for Villa, Malen will join international teammate Ian Maatsen in Birmingham.
The Dutch duo have also played together at club level, both featuring in Dortmund's defeat to Real Madrid in the 2024 Champions League final.
