Chelsea have been dealt another injury setback, with Cole Palmer missing training ahead of their upcoming clash with Brighton, raising concerns over his availability.
The 23-year-old returned from a persistent groin injury in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Brentford only to be brought off early in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.
According to Sky Sports, Palmer missed training on Thursday due to the ongoing issue ahead of their Premier League clash with Brighton on Saturday.
Palmer is now a major doubt for the fixture. He scored four goals in last season, and it remains to be seen when he will be back to full fitness.
Chelsea will doubtless be hoping their star man can make it after they seriously struggled to overcome League One Lincoln in the Carabao Cup midweek without him.
