Chelsea have reportedly identified Lille wonderkid Ayyoub Bouaddi as a priority target for the upcoming January transfer window.

The 18-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best midfield prospects in European football and has attracted interest from several top clubs - despite signing a new contract until 2029 at the start of December

Chelsea’s ongoing policy of signing top young talent means they are one of those clubs and have made a move for Bouaddi a priority in January, according to CaughtOffside.

Enzo Maresca’s side won’t have a free run at the midfielder, however, with Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United all keen.

It’s understood that Chelsea are looking to add a high-energy midfielder to help relieve some of the burden on Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.
