Marc Cucurella is the latest player to suggest he is thinking about leaving Chelsea, admitted a return to Barcelona would be hard to turn down.

The 27-year-old is one of the few transfer successes Chelsea have had since Clearlake Capital took over in 2022.

Speaking to Flashscore, Cucurella insisted he was still happy in London, but left the door open to a potential return to boyhood club Barcelona.

“You always think about coming back, I’m very happy at London and Chelsea, so is my family, I’ll leave it for a few years from now,” he said.

When asked about Barcelona, he responded: “It’s clear that if those situations arose, they’re difficult to recuse, I’d have to consider it and talk to my family.

"I’m not thinking about that right now, if it happens, we will see what decision to make.”

Midfielder Enzo Fernandez has been vocal about a potential move to Real Madrid, while Cole Palmer is also said to be unhappy at Stamford Bridge.
