Crystal Palace are reportedly ready to steal away Andoni Iraola from Bournemouth as they try to replace Oliver Glasner.

After Athletic Club stepped up their pursuit of the Spaniard, the Eagles have now swooped in to declare their interest in Iraola, as per reports that state that he is expected to leave the side.

Palace will part ways with Glasner at the end of the campaign, while Iraola’s current contract expires at the end of the season, which opens a door of opportunity for him to make the switch to South London.

Iraola addressed the rumours after the 2-2 draw with Manchester United and said he remains content at the club.

"No, it doesn't have anything to do with me," Iraola told reporters. "Probably as a supporter because it is my club, but no, it doesn't affect the situation.

"I've said it a lot of times I'm very happy here. I have a great relationship with the club and it's true that we will have to take a decision according to this, but it's a situation I have had most of my years as manager. It is not new to me."

The Telegraph reports that after interest from Athletic Club, Palace are considering a shock offer which would see a rare move between two Premier League sides.

Iraola has won 37 of 107 league matches in England over nearly three years, seeing his team score 158 times, conceding 161.

His side are above Palace as they hunt down a European spot in the final seven games of the season after which he must decide his future as more and more clubs grow interested.
