20:40 BST - Our final update of the evening is rather fitting as comments from Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner have just become available.

"I can't believe it, we had to defend so much," he said some time after his side's FA Cup triumph over Manchester City.

"The spirit and togetherness on the pitch was amazing," added Glasner.

"It was all about being patient, we analysed that if you give them the pocket then they are so good.

"We had to be patient, let them cross, defend and wait for the moment to attack."

19:15 BST - Speaking to the media shortly after Crystal Palace's FA Cup win over Manchester City, goal-scorer Eberechi Eze was a little lost for words.

"It's special. I don't know what to say," he said.

"We've faced a team that's been the best team in the world for so long. To show that type of spirit, that type of energy."

Palace had to ride their luck as Dean Henderson was fortunate to escape an early red card for handling outside of his area. Henderson also saved a first-half penalty from Omar Marmoush, but City failed to make their dominance of possession count.

"I just couldn't breathe. They keep the ball so well," Eze said of City's fast start.

"We also know when we get up to their box we've got to make it count and just thankful we made it count today because it's not easy."

18:52 BST - Joel Ward, who announced he will leave the club after 13 years this summer, has been given the honours by the Palace captain... AND PALACE LIFT THE FA CUP! Classy stuff.

18:52 BST - Marc Guehi is about to get his hands on the trophy...

18:48 BST - It's also worth mentioning that Palace's FA Cup win also secures them a spot in the Europa League next season. What an achievement!

18:46 BST - The trophy lift will be happening shortly. A few of the Palace players are currently speaking to the media, but they'll be headed up the steps soon.

18:31 BST - FULL-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE WIN THE FA CUP!

18:21 BST - Dean Henderson has been booked for time-wasting, which is absolutely fair enough.

18:10 BST - There are ten minutes left of regulation time at Wembley.

18:03 BST - Adam Wharton denies a Kevin De Bruyne rocket with his head. He's on the floor and the City fans are not happy with the delay.

17:44 BST - NO GOAL! Palace thought they had another, but Daniel Munoz's goal has been ruled out for an offisde in the build-up. A lifeline for City as it remains just 1-0.

17:41 BST -  Eberechi Eze fires an effort from close-range, but it's blocked in the box! That would have been a handful for Stefan Ortega to deal with. Still 1-0.

17:40 BST - City boss Pep Guardiola is unhappy about something. The fourth official is getting an earful.

17:36 BST - We are back underway at Wembley! Can Palace hold on or will City be able to break the deadlock? It remains 1-0 to the Eagles. Stick with us for all the key updates.

17:19 BST - HALF-TIME: Crystal Palace 1-0 Manchester City. For all of City's dominance, it's the Palace who take the lead at the break! Dean Henderson, who might feel lucky to still be involved, the hero after denying Omar Marmoush from 12 yards (following Eberechi Eze's opener).

"We are going to play (on) Tuesday night against one of the most intense, physical, direct and powerful teams in the Premier League, Bournemouth, who are playing for the Europa League or Conference qualification."
