19:51 BST - Speaking after Newcastle's 1-1 draw with Brighton earlier today, Magpies boss Eddie Howe hailed striker Alexander Isak's "ruthless mentality" after the Swede scored a spot-kick late on.

"I've not been there myself, so I can't put myself in his shoes," Howe said of Isak.

"But I can only imagine the process he is going through and then he has to stop, and that's why he did very well because it would be very, very easy to miss that moment. But he didn't."

18:52 BST - Speaking after his side's 4-3 defeat to Brentford today, Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim said they "need to change".

"It was a reflection of our season. We started well and controlled well, we suffered with the set pieces and throw-ins so we knew we would struggle against them," he said.

"The players have to understand we cannot do this anymore, we know the context of the season and we need to change that."
