20:15 BST - That's it from us today. Thanks for joining us for another exciting day of football action!

19:42 BST - Enzo Maresca refused to plead for the backing of Chelsea's frustrated fans after his spluttering team were booed off during their 2-2 draw earlier today.

Blues boss Maresca and his players were jeered at half-time with Chelsea trailing 2-0 against third-bottom Ipswich.

"We are stronger with our fans, we are a better team. It's up to them to decide the way. When we were 0-1, 0-2, it's normal for them to be the way they were," he said.

19:19 BST - Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou defended his side's performance despite falling to a 17th Premier League defeat of the season today.

"Funny game because for the most part it was decent, considering the changes we made," said Postecoglou.

"I thought we controlled large parts and were a bit of a threat going forward, but then we've conceded some poor goals.

"We made some individual errors, which is unusual for us, but they all happened in one game. It's not like they are doing it on purpose."

18:57 BST - Ruben Amorim lamented the number of errors his Manchester United side made at St James' Park.

"Many mistakes, they were stronger in the second balls and are a better team," Amorim told Sky Sports. "We did a lot of mistakes which makes it harder to win a game.

"It's a bit of everything – it's hard to point at one thing that goes wrong. It's really hard to win at top teams when you make mistakes to help them to score.

"We can do so much better. Let's focus on Thursday, all of the mistakes we made today we cannot do on Thursday."

18:36 BST - That big win this evening means Newcastle are very much in the driving seat when it comes to the race to reach the Champions League.

16:50 BST - Six of the last seven goalkeepers to make their first Premier League start for Manchester United have kept a clean sheet (Lindegaard, Amos, Valdes, Romero, Pereira, Onana), with Dean Henderson in December 2020 (v West Ham) the exception.

16:30 BST - Manchester United get the ball rolling at St James' Park – follow the match here.

16:23 BST - Following their 2-0 win at Old Trafford in December, Newcastle are looking to complete their first league double over Manchester United since the 1930/31 campaign.

16:18 BST - As revealed earlier in the day, there's no involvement at all for goalkeeper Andre Onana, who is dropped in favour of Altay Bayindir today. Harry Amass, 18, makes his first Premier League start at left wing-back.

16:15 BST - Time for a quick spruce-up as our focus turns to St James' Park, where Newcastle prepare to take on Manchester United.

15:17 BST - GOAL! Now Tottenham have pulled one back in their clash at Wolves as Mathys Tel bundles in at that back post. Game on at Molineux as Wolves still lead 2-1.

15:06 BST - GOAL! Chelsea have a goal back straight after the restart courtesy of Marc Cucurella, who crashes in at the near post. It might have gone in off the defender, but Chelsea won't care. They trail Ipswich 2-1.

15:03 BST - We're slowly getting back underway for the second halves.

14:50 BST - HALF-TIME! Well, a very interesting first 45 minutes across the Premier League so far...

14:40 BST - GOAL! It's 2-0 to Wolves following a comedy of errors from Tottenham. Guglielmo Vicario parries a save directly into Djed Spence, who can only watch as the ball trickles into his own net.

14:31 BST - GOAL! Two for Ipswich! Ben Johnson's header loops into the Chelsea net and after a VAR check for an offside, it's given! The visitors hold a valuable 2-0 lead.

13:20 BST - Liverpool's fixture against West Ham will be their first since announcing Mohamed Salah will stay at the club after signing a new two-year contract on Friday.

The Egyptian's future had been under constant scrutiny, yet he has still managed to put in performance after performance this season to put Liverpool in strong title contention.

They're 10 points clear at the top and they'll be looking to extend their advantage and get back in the win column today after last week's defeat at Fulham.

12:55 BST - Let's get this Sunday going with some team news for the three earlier fixtures of the day:

12:50 BST - No sides have seen more goals in their Premier League games this season than both Tottenham Hotspur (103 – 58 for, 45 against) and Wolves (102 – 43 for, 59 against).

Indeed, only table-topping Liverpool (72) have scored more goals than Spurs (58) in the division this term, while only the current bottom three sides have conceded more than Wolves (59).

12:38 BST - Ipswich are looking to complete just their second league double over Chelsea, previously doing so in the 1978/79 top-flight campaign.

12:25 BST - Liverpool have lost just one of their last 57 home games against West Ham in all competitions (W42 D14), winning each of their last nine in a row.

12:00 BST - Welcome back to Flashscore's Football Tracker! Another exciting day in the Premier League awaits – here's what's in store.

Three games kick off at 14:00 BST today with league leaders Liverpool hosting West Ham, Chelsea playing Ipswich and Wolves facing Tottenham.

The later game sees Newcastle square off with Manchester United at 16:30 BST – the hosts knowing a win can take them from seventh place up to fourth.

We'll have all the updates and key points right here as they happen.

Saturday, April 12th

21:00 BST - We're winding down the Tracker for tonight but do join us again tomorrow for more Premier League action. We'll be right here!

20:35 BST - With nine points required, Liverpool could potentially end up pipping Arsenal to the Premier League at the Gunners' north London rivals Tottenham in a few weeks' time.

The Reds could also be enjoying a guard of honour from old pals Chelsea in the following fixture.

20:14 BST - Mikel Arteta was not offering any excuses for his side's inability to put today's game away.

"I'm disappointed with the result," Arteta told Sky Sports.

"We were 1-0 up and in full control of the game. We conceded a very poor goal - a goal that against them you know is going to happen.

"We allow a big transition that leads to a corner that you have to defend in the first, second and third phase and what we did there against a team like Brentford is not good enough.

"The attitude, if you see at the end we have to play with 10 men and we had two big opportunities to score, you cannot say it is about energy. We play every three days and are used to it, so there is not an excuse of energy."

20:09 BST - Brentford boss Thomas Frank was pleased with the fight shown by the Bees against an Arsenal side still buzzing from their midweek exploits.

"Of course, it is a very good point against a very good Arsenal team that beat Real Madrid four days ago," Frank told Sky Sports.

"Fighting back to get to 1-1 shows the character in our team.

"I would have loved us to create more but they also defended very well."

20:00 BST - Brentford goalscorer Yoane Wissa scored his 15th Premier League goal this season, making Brentford the first side to have two players score 15 times this term (alongside Bryan Mbeumo with 16).

"It is really hard to perform against these teams," Wissa told Sky Sports after the match.

"I think they are in very, very good shape. We struggled in the first half and I have to say it was a boring game from us.

"We conceded on the counter, which I think we could have avoided and then we tried to come back.

"We know we are good on set pieces and the goal I scored was the kind of goal I score in training, so I was very happy to score that."

19:44 BST - That draw means Arsenal have won just two of their past seven Premier League games, taking 10 points from a possible 21.

Liverpool now need nine points from their remaining seven matches to secure this season's Premier League title.

Eggs all in the Champions League basket now for Mikel Arteta.

17:56 BST - GOAL! Arsenal have been probing and they're rewarded with the lead as Kieran Tierney heads in.

17:30 BST - Here we go! Underway in north London with Arsenal looking to trim the gap to leaders Liverpool.

17:15 BST - Our attention now switches to the Emirates where Arsenal host Brentford in the final Premier League game of the day.

The Gunners are on a huge high after their stunning Champions League outing in midweek, but they'll need to be careful of a Brentford side capable of spoiling the party.

15:50 BST - HALF-TIME! We've reached the halfway point this afternoon, with Brighton and Leicester all square at 1-1 and Nottingham Forest v Everton and Southampton v Aston Villa both still goalless.

15:38 BST - GOAL! The drought is over! Leicester score their first goal in nine Premier League games with Stephy Mavididi making it 1-1 at Brighton.

It ends a run of 885 minutes without a goal in the Premier League, their longest since going 691 minutes without scoring from December 31st, 2016 to February 27th, 2017.

15:00 BST - We are underway in the Premier League this afternoon! Stick with us for all the key updates.

14:55 BST - Nottingham Forest have won 12 of their last 13 Premier League games against teams starting the day in the bottom half of the table (L1), including winning the last nine in a row.

14:50 BST - Aston Villa have won their last four Premier League games against Southampton by an aggregate score of 7-0.

In their league history, only against Stoke (1905-1923), Sunderland (1983-1990) and Hull (1988-2010) have they won five in a row without conceding.

14:45 BST - Time to shift our attention over to the three 15:00 BST games in the Premier League!

14:28 BST - FULL-TIME! They had to do it the hard way, but Manchester City successfully fought back from 2-0 down early in the first half to romp towards an eventual 5-2 victory.

14:09 BST - GOAL! It's five for City and it's a beautiful, controlled volley into the bottom corner from Nico O'Reilly to extend the lead to 5-2 and surely seal the points.

Like McAtee earlier, that's O'Reilly's first Premier League goal too.

13:46 BST - GOAL! It's a fourth goal for City as James McAtee latches onto Ederson's searching long ball, before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting into an empty net.

That's McAtee's first Premier League goal and a fourth assist of the season for goalkeeper Ederson.

13:37 BST - GOAL! Turnaround complete! City take a 3-2 lead as Mateo Kovacic finds the bottom corner after being teed up by De Bruyne. Just 76 seconds of the second half was all it took.

13:36 BST - Back underway for the second half!

13:19 BST - HALF-TIME! A four-goal frenzy has Manchester City and Crystal Palace locked at 2-2 at the break.

Palace will be wondering what happened after racing into a 2-0 lead, but if the first half is anything to go by, we're in for a good one the rest of the way.

13:07 BST - GOAL! Equaliser for City! Omar Marmoush rifles a shot into the net from close range and all of a sudden, City have made it 2-2!

13:03 BST - GOAL! City have a goal back and it's a wonderful effort from Kevin De Bruyne, who curls a beautiful free-kick around the wall and in off the post to cut the deficit to 2-1. Game on!

12:59 BST - Eze has the ball in the net and thinks he's given Palace a 3-0 lead, but our first look at the semi-automated offside technology confirms he strayed just off, quickly ruling it out.

City are all at sea and are at risk of letting this game get away from them already.

12:52 BST - GOAL! Two for Palace! This is some start for the Eagles as Chris Richards heads in a corner to make it 2-0 with just over 20 minutes gone.

Questions will be asked of City's defending there, though...

12:38 BST - GOAL! What a start for Crystal Palace as Eberechi Eze taps in following a great ball across from Isamaila Sarr, giving the visitors an early lead!

12:31 BST - Kick-off! Underway at the Etihad ahead of another busy day in the Premier League – follow the match here.

12:10 BST - Only league leaders Liverpool (23) have earned more points over their last 10 Premier League games than Crystal Palace (22 – W7 D1 L2).

The Eagles have won four of their last five league matches (D1) and six of their last eight away from home (D2).

11:54 BST - Manchester City have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League games against Crystal Palace (W7 D4), going down 2-0 at home in October 2021.

11:40 BST - A bit of housekeeping, but today will see the introduction of semi-automated offside (SAOT) in the Premier League.

Its use will make judging close offside calls easier for match officials by automating key parts of the process, with the Premier League saying it "enhances the speed, efficiency and consistency of decision-making".

11:18 BST - Getting straight into things this morning, the teams have dropped for the lunchtime fixture between Manchester City and Crystal Palace.

No Phil Foden in the squad for the hosts, so James McAtee comes in for his first Premier League start, while Chris Richards is in for Palace in place of the suspended Marc Guehi.
