Tottenham’s four-match unbeaten run ended in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in what was the club’s 10th loss of the Premier League season.
Udogie out
Frank first confirmed Destiny Udogie will miss the next month with a hamstring injury as Tottenham's injury list grows longer, which will be a worry for fans who are already concerned about rotation.
"Unfortunately, Destiny has a hamstring injury and is out for the next four to five weeks.
"(Other than Udogie and Romero), the squad from Saturday is available."
Romero needs to learn from his mistakes
Tottenham captain Romero begins a four-game ban this week after picking up a red card in the United clash. This was his second red card of the season, meaning he is likely to miss the clash against North London rivals Arsenal. Frank spoke on the defender who he says has a lot to learn.
"For me, I think he is a leader. He is a young leader. He's learning every day. I've said I used the example when I was 30 years old I thought I was on top of the world, but I was no way near the level I am today in terms of leadership and understanding things.
"And then when you have a player that's playing with so much passion and aggression, things like that can happen.
"That's not to say he shouldn't learn from it, of course he needs to learn from it, going forward."
Are Tottenham in a relegation battle?
Finally, as pressure grows on Frank, he was asked if Tottenham are in a relegation battle after slipping to 15th in the table, six points away from the drop zone.
"There's no doubt we are desperate to win games, desperate. And I am focusing on Newcastle tomorrow - that's a great opportunity ahead of us against a good team.
"That's the main thing. Can we go out there and get three points tomorrow? That will be very good and then climb from there and look forward, and that's the main focus."
