Niklas Füllkrug is preparing to leave West Ham this January as AC Milan prepare to make bid.

Since moving to the London Stadium for £27.5 million in the summer of 2024, Fullkrug has scored just three goals in 29 appearances in what has been a failed move so far.

The German striker is ready for a move away from the Premier League as AC Milan circle this week in preparation for the January transfer window, which opens in just a few weeks time.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Fullkrug is ready to make the switch to the Serie A, where he could find his feet once again.

"Niklas Füllkrug wants AC Milan move ahead of any proposal from Bundesliga.

"Negotiations well underway with West Ham, as revealed in the recent days.”

West Ham were keen to get Füllkrug off the books last summer, but constant injury problems stopped a move from occurring. Now, as reported by GIVEMESPORT, Milan could only being able to afford a temporary switch due to Fullkrug's wage, which is worth close to £100,000-a-week.

The 32-year-old is reportedly desperate to get away, however, and a loan move away until the end of the season could hand him a boost at the end of his career.
