Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch new contracts after their impressive performances at the start of the season.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the season as Liverpool aim to retain the Premier League title for the first time in their history.

With one goal and two assists in his five league games so far, the Dutchman has nailed down the starting left-wing spot under Arne Slot.

According to GiveMeSport, Liverpool are now hoping to tie Gakpo down to a new long-term deal as a reward for his fine form.

It’s understood that countryman Ryan Gravenberch is also in line to receive a new deal that will see him receive a pay rise despite already earning over £100,000 a week.
